Will turner is the coolest
Honestly feel like Will’s and Elizabeth’s relationship was done so dirty. They just don’t have a lot of chemistry with each other like they do with the other characters. One reason why is that they are apart for most of the movies. Only real chemistry was when Elizabeth saved Will when she was a child but other than that it just seems boring and forced
Also Elizabeth kissing Jack creating tension that went on too long in At World’s End. I don’t know why Elizabeth holds Will at a higher pedestal than Jack when they are all as equally bad as him as they all betrayed and lied to each other at one point.
I also get Elizabeth’s dad as I grow older. He was just looking out for his daughter as she was all he had as it seems like the mother had passed away. And it seems how he was killed off that no one else had any loyalty towards him despite his title as governor. Yeah he was a bit classist towards Will and for some reason wanted Elizabeth to marry someone twice her age even though that was the norm then, but he was just thinking of what’s best for her. He had every right to be against Jack as he was a full on criminal even though he did one good deed and later letting him go costed him his life. I don’t think he regretted anything as he did see his daughter happier living life as a pirate and her happiness is all that mattered to him
