Good luck on the home sale. We sold our home two years ago and bought another one. This market is crazy. A lot of people move during the summer because it’s easier with kids and school. We waited to put our house on the market till summertime for that reason. I have several friends that are realtors. What they said works is drop the house price by even 5k then have an open house especial on the first weekend after dropping the price. Push that it’s a good school district and ppl want an updated home which yours is. Best of luck.

I think being near family, is the best for everyone, especially the Grandparents. I moved from Cali to Az to be near two of mine, my Daughter’s, bc in California, we spent a lot of time together and I couldn’t bear having them in even just the next state over, without me. So I moved within a couple of weeks after they did. My grands here are 10 &12. The next move will hopefully be near my eldest son and his family, my two other grands, in Idaho..we’ll see.

My parents and I have become homeless as of March of last year and trust me we get the market is bad. Right now homes r very expensive and can't find a place because of prices. Hang in there the kids look great and r thriving. Hopefully you get to be with family soon

@@pattih7 don't know what we r going to do. I live with my parents and the cop that owned our house got the house from his dad. His dad passed away when we were renting it, then he decided after we paid rent for over 20 years that we had to pay another $130,000. But then he couldn't get that so he sold what was supposed to be ours. Oh yeah and the toppings on the cake he was a cop, a dirty one. His twin sister is in relistate so guess who blacked out what my dad signed? And guess what a dirty judge that he was friends with signed that we had to get out!! Sorry I don't have much to believe in when it comes to renting.
I can totally relate to you and how your life is your kids. That is the way it should be, and the fact that you both get to work from home is a blessing. Many many years ago I had a 2 1/2 year old and a newborn, living in California and my whole family lived in Texas. I had no help and I just never felt I wanted to leave them with a babysitter very often. My husband worked in LA and we lived in Thousand Oaks so the commute for him was brutal. He was no help with the kids, but I loved that they were the center of my world and treasured that time in my life. They are grown men now with families of their own, and I get to enjoy my grand babies, but I will never regret the time I devoted to my boys.
Best wishes to you guys selling your house - I remember that process, which was pretty frustrating, and I won't tell you how many times we listed, re-listed, etc. or how long it took. But just have patience...timing is everything! Also, your life IS your children and your family!! Our two will be 19 and 17 this summer, and our life is STILL about them and our family. Hugs to you both!
You know what, I don't get to watch UA-cam much at all these days any more (because, like you, my 4 year old is my life! 😂💖) .....but whenever I do, you guys' vlogs and videos always leave me feeling so calm and warm hearted 🥹💖 I have honestly loved watching you guys meet and fall in love, then grow your little family ☺️💖 I truly hope you're able to move sooner than you expect, as I can tell that's where your hearts are at!! I would not trust renting due, to the squatter issues now & then losing your home altogether in a court battle.

I have experienced a couple rotten sus untrusting dishonest human beings, playing at 'a wanna be realtor', for other deviant reasons & I have experienced a couple good honest respectable person's, whom were literally professional, confident, thorough, trustworthy, studied & literally made to be a Realtor.
Yes, the market is not good however, the Realtor is important, as there are good one's that can sell the shirt off your back at any given time.
Plus, their Reality Company reputation also matters guys.
You don't want to keep house on the market too long, take it off & put it back on & then start dropping prices constantly, as that can look bad to buyers, that there maybe something seriously wrong with house, when infact there is nothing wrong.
I'm honestly hoping you both found a different Realtor.
You may want to do some Realtor shopping if not & discuss your price listing with a reputable Realtor that has a good sales record/numbers.
You should know what their average sale rate is of homes in a spand of a year.
You need a truly motivated honest Realtor guys.

You cannot wait for family to help you in order to have a life. Parents make friends with other parents. You can get together at each others homes and maybe at least go to dinner together. There are ways to vet babysitters that can allow you to get some time together outside your home. Please don’t rely on just your parents to take care of your kids. Your marriage will suffer and you will regret it. It is fine to center your life around your kids, but don’t neglect each other.

I think it's pretty common for people to favor one side of the family in marriages.
Because then they would be all alone.
Sadly it’s common for a cpl to live closer to the wife’s family, not sure why this happens. “ A daughter is a daughter the rest of your life, a son is a son until he takes a wife.” I hardly ever see my sons and daughter in laws. 😢

If you bought your house at a low rate you may want to see if your loan is assumable for the next buyer. As a realtor I do that occasionally.

What’s hard is it a sellers market and if you’re in a desired area. Houses do not stay on the market very long. We sold our house just this weekend and under a day and a half. We had so many offers come in. We are also relocating to Tennessee as I have a job down there. So it definitely depends on where you’re at.

I never understood why they moved so far away from family, I think they regret it now that all her family is in TN and they're stuck trying to sell in a bad market. It's gotta be so stressful, I feel bad for Carlos not being able to see his family very often. Hopefully the house will sell this year and they can move on to where they really want to be

My grandparents couldn’t sell their house and then they googled something and they buried Joseph figuring and it had to be buried a certain way and so far from the house and it worked.

Tell her “no”. When she stops then give her a treat. She’ll get the hang of it but it’ll take time. She’s only 9 weeks.
I wouldn’t put pee pads in the crate. If your puppy is going to the bathroom in the crate you aren’t taking it outside enough.
Can you not rent your house out for a couple of years until the market gets better, and just rent from that income yourself till then? You'll be where you want to be sooner, and you won't have to wait for it to sell in the current state of uncertainty in the market.. just curious 😊
If you think about it, dropping the price of your house you'd lose money which could pay for a rental for a long time plus you'd get the rent in each week too.

They’d have to pay a property management company which probably isn’t worth it in the end.
