Thanks Chris , good video off this Japannees bike , a think the flying fin Heikki mikkola driving this bike in the eighties super , your fan Henri put Belgium 🇧🇪 cheers Chris 👍
Sounds like you’ve a had them all Gary but I still think the YZ465 was still one of 5he best bikes Yamaha made at that time. But again thanks for your comments and for watching my stuff.
@@monticlassictv i liked my 81 and would have kept it a couple years..but in 82 we got the White YZ bikes ...while America had the Yellow bikes till the next year.... i had to buy the new ones..the 125 was much better too in 82....
Thanks for the post. Had 3 years with a YZ360B and had a couple of years with a WR500. Won a couple of races on the YZ360. Love the twin shock 490 you're featuring. Nothing much old shool in my shed now. I'm 62 years young. 2004 last model KX500 E16 45 hours only and a CR500R, 2001 last model, had them both since new. The Honda has never been ridden. In storage. Thanks and, just subscribed.
Beautifully modified YZ490, first class for sure!!

the 80 & 81 were harder hitting engines for sure...but the 490 was a great overall bike i preferred.... that was a cool modded 490...
