Greys isn’t exactly known for its great CGI. They don’t use it on the show beyond something small. They probably don’t have a special effects team on site.
I knew they’d do something like this, so I was prepared to cry. But when I saw her dog, I started getting teary eyed, and when Derek was the only “hallucination” Meredith stopped in her tracks for, that’s when the tears came.
The look that Lexie gave her was so heartbreaking for me. As someone who has a sister I know that that exact look is the look of someone who is so proud of what their loved one accomplished. My sister gave me that look when I finally beat my depression it feels so good and this moment in the show made me cry because I knew that Lexie was so proud of Meredith. This part made my heart melt

missy pm same! I watched till about the 17th ep of season 12. Didn't really enjoy the new storyline and all. And of course, the show without Derek was just not the same for me. But this scene just popped up on my UA-cam feed and although I haven't watched the episode, I didn't need to. I got all teary eyed and emotional just by watching this

The first 3 seasons are the best. In season 4, it was the beginning of the end : they fired Preston Burke, they started messing George's storyline, and started the "everyone sleeps with everyone" stuff. Then they killed off George and that's when I stopped watching. From season 6 until now, it's nothing more than a weekly version of "General Hospital".

This was amazing, we the fans really needed this, having chasing cars play and then having George, Lexie, Doc, Ellis, Derek, and Mark. It was perfect, thank you Grey's Anatomy for this amazing show, I have never missied an episode, I can't wait for the next one. Or hopefully the many more seasons to come. Love this show.

Sorry to say...but I sincerely think that Grey’s Anatomy went so much farther than it should. I mean, in my opinion, it’s already time to end the show cuz it does kinda sucks right now compared to how things started, you know? And most of the people that have been watching since day 1 (from the very first season and episode), agrees with that.

Mark’s death hit me the hardest because of the episode after the crash and the fact that he could have been okay and everyone thought that he was okay.
I cried at this part !!! Just seeing all of the old characters made me miss them so much and makes me realize how much the show has changed I still love but it’s just not the same..

This was amazing, we the fans really needed this, having chasing cars play and then having George, Lexie, Doc, Ellis, Derek, and Mark. It was perfect, thank you Grey's Anatomy for this amazing show, I have never missied an episode, I can't wait for the next one. Or hopefully the many more seasons to come. Love this show.

Sorry to say...but I sincerely think that Grey’s Anatomy went so much farther than it should. I mean, in my opinion, it’s already time to end the show cuz it does kinda sucks right now compared to how things started, you know? And most of the people that have been watching since day 1 (from the very first season and episode), agrees with that.

100 percent agree and i’ve been a day one fan. They killed too many of the most important and loved characters that it made us lose motivation in watching ! When they killed george it was hard , when they killed lexie i was contemplating boycotting the show but when they killed derek yea it was a wrap

Mark’s death hit me the hardest because of the episode after the crash and the fact that he could have been okay and everyone thought that he was okay.

I cried at this part !!! Just seeing all of the old characters made me miss them so much and makes me realize how much the show has changed I still love but it’s just not the same..
the cgi of mark and derek kinda destroyed it for me but this scene was heartbreaking 🥺
When they showed George I gasped and said “NOPE, I’m NOT going to cry!” but as the scene continued I found myself bawling my eyes out! And it’s beautiful that they did a Día De los Muertos episode this year! Well done y’all, well done! 👍❤️

The first time I watched it, I was so emotional about seeing George that I almost forgot about everyone else.
This was so beautiful. I love the song and I screamed when they showed Mark standing there smiling, looking first at Meredith then at his best friend Derek. Aww! :(
Only reason that I did not lose it completely is that they didn't put my favorite couple Lexie and McSteamy together here.

That moment George came, I didn't see it coming and it just broke my heart. It was so unexpected and sudden for me! And then it just kept getting worse and worse. 😭🖤
6 years ago today, my dad had a massive heart attack and passed suddenly. Today is always a tough day. I’m glad that this showed up just to remind how it’s okay to grieve years later.
Thank you for this scene Grey's Anatomy. It'll be forever etched in our memories. Who lives, who dies and definitely who tells our story. ❤
