Teflon tape VS Loctite 55 thread sealant string [How to stop leaks]

Today I am looking at the difference and correct applications of both Teflon and Loctite 55 thread sealant string. Both are great pipe sealants that have been around for a long time. Teflon is definitely a broader used product and Loctite has a great reputation for quality products. So let’s see what my personal thoughts are. If the "brain" of your text to speech engine hurts usoing TEFLIN, then have a human speak, brush on Teflon pipe dope and wipe off the slight excess when done. It doesn't matter in which direction it's applied and if you need to remake a connection you don't need to clean it. 😁
