I think Kate's death was more impactful to Immortal compared to previous partners because she was the one person who truly understood him, being someone who experiences death over and over.
Rex’s survival is unlikely but not unheard of. Being shot in the head is a slot machine of outcomes depending on what’s hit. There’s a story of a man surviving a lead pipe to the brain, but being paralyzed on one side
Hell a man took a tamping iron to the brain and lived for a decade. He was for sure changed but that's crazy Edit: to clarify he was packing down gunpowder and it exploded
This episode had so many great moments for character development/change. There's so much to tackle and take care of, I'm so excited for future episodes and seasons. Art and Alan for the win! You're in for a treat with Alan coming up soon!
Honestly, I think I had the opposite reaction to you when the baby said, "Mama." My first thought went back to the previous episode when Oliver's mother said that by the time he said his first word that she would be dead. I frowny-faced.
I had a positive reaction to it actually do to the fact that he has family still and and not on a planet full of strangers and that he still young to not care for this family bullshit
0:43 Heh heh she was stoned faced that entire time as if she expected something to swoop in and save him but nope the unexpected sudden expression change happened to her too. 😂
@@alyciadweeb There were a ton of crossovers with other comic series and characters who got to play a supporting role that they couldn't get the rights to for the show version, so they're probably keeping her around to be able to patch up some of those holes.
I do wonder how they're going to continue the Kate storyline since, it's so far a bit different from the comics. It may not be a big plotline but I do hope Immortal finds some peace. Edit: Not to spoil anything but you are pretty much correct about Angstrom. He's not the toughest villain but he's definitely something as you'll see soon.

I think it might have compounded with him being betrayed by Omniman and killed by him twice
I loved that. It’s basically the opposite of Nolan calling his wife a pet
@@TheAbominableDrFaustus nobody was talking about that why bring it out of nowhere

@ 4:20 should read "...even when it killed her, over and over and over and over and over and over..." Lol RIP Kate

Even in the real world, head shots aren't always fatal.
Rae definitely died in the comic. Interesting to see what they do with her going forward.
Yeah there was a guy who had a tamping iron for gunpowder and he had it explode and go thru his brain man survived for like a decade
Oooh interesting that Rae died in the comic but they’re keeping her around in the show. I’ll be interested to see what they do with her character too.

Rex and Rae survived the impossible
I was expecting Kate to survive as well
👀
@@DanReyesBshhhh don't tell em...
@JellisX891 The emoji is fine, you're the one spoiling that there's something to know.
How did I never notice the broken hearts in the coffee!?
So many reactors don't understand that it's possible to survive a headshot. The chance is extremely low but it's possible.

Hey, um, letting you know again , your thumbnail for your this episode uses a screencap from another episode. The middle one. You may wanna fix that.
Hey good looking out, thank you!
@@alyciadweeb NP!
Wanted to see your reaction to the Walking Dead reference. lol
tbh if you dont know it's a walking dead reference, it just looks like Angstrom just walked through a random zombie universe
Come on 😏 it’s Robert kirkman it’s definitely walking dead reference
Happy Easter Sunday everybody 🐣😊🐰
