Oh boy. I hope Sephiroth finds out about his real mother in Part 3. For some reason, I don't think Square Enix is going down that rabbit hole, since they're heavily focused on bringing Advent Children in to play for the finale in 2027.
So happy they went back to the motherly face of Jenova! What were they thinking in crisis core covering her head! Though I do think this is how Sephiroth sees her and not her actual face.
