Black and white takes more than just a filter to get right. You still need an artist to determine how colors are depicted in black and white. The colors have to be translated into a shade of grey and you make fine adjustments to create the proper look and contrast just like you would do with color. There isn't much of a difference between the two.

Those buckets will be sold out before I can get one and I already own the Annual bucket so I think I'm just gonna pay my 5 bucks for my refill and call it a day. 23MIB could be really great if done right. Tatum and Hill go undercover in a shady department but have absolutely zero clue just what they're getting themselves into and then you put Will Smith in the mentor role, and maybe Tommy Lee Jones is now the head agent if you can get him on board. You could even throw Tessa Thompson in there too. The movie basically writes itself at that point.
And let's face it, Jonah Hill could use a bit of career and image rehabilitation.
I think Ruffalo makes an appearance in Cap 4. That's how Red Hulk is defeated. There's too many Hulk connections in this movie to just ignore Hulk.
Banner is definitely in it but I do not think that is how he’s defeated, they are going to have a device that turns him back into Ross or something.

Regarding B&W. I believe that Frank Darabont's "The Mist" was intended to be released in B&W, and was filmed that way. But the studio insisted he release the colour version instead. Eventually, he was able get the B&W version released, too. So now there are two different ways to get depressed.
AMC+ has renewed Interview With A Vampire for a 3rd season after the success of 1 & 2, which will be bassed on The Queen of the Damned.
I hope season 2 (which just ended) will get recognized by the Emmys and Golden Globes this season unlike before.

Actually John, if you pause the shot of Red Hulk catching the shield you can see that the face is of Harrison Ford, similar to the leaked images months back. And the background imagery of the trees with pink blossoms throughout you can see Sam is facing him. Maybe he Hulks out in front of the world, during a presidential speech or something and hurts Betty, and Bruce sees or hears of this and sets up a future confrontation.

Marvel can’t be setting up no future confrontation that’s ridiculous, Banner has to be in this movie. There is no way out, they have The Leader and Betty in it, so there is no excuse not to have Banner as well.
@Byronic19134 nah, because it's a Captain America movie. Bring Banner in would shift the story plot to a Hulk centric movie, which would need a whole own movie to explore. Would be a waste to do it here, vut setting those steps up while keeping the plot focused on events here makes sense.

The Cap 4 teaser was dope. And cool to see Tiamat in it. 97% of the time the "leakers" are grifters. I could rant endlessly about such. But this was a thing one did say would happen. And I'm glad. And just as a whole. Hyped about it in general.
Mytimetoshine scooper did say captain america 4 will adress tiamut. & looks like its true.
I see scoopers as a high probability. But if its coming from THR or variety then its 99.9% true
I don't think there's going to be any modern music in Gladiator II, but as far as putting modern music in period piece films, there were rap songs in Django Unchained and a David Bowie song in Inglourious Basterds, and I would argue their placement doesn't hurt those films. It's a practice that's been around as far back as... Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, maybe? And some Robert Altman post-modernist westerns? While I don't think it's going to be a factor in Gladiator II, I don't think it deters from a movie.
I seriously can’t fathom the fuss over people Kanye’s No Peace In The Wild song in the trailer, like it’s completely ridiculous. I thought people were mad because they made Denzel character as the emperor which would have been outrageous but finding out it’s because of the trailer music I’m like ya gotta be kidding me.
The examples you gave set the tone that you would have modern music used in them. That music won't be in the film ovly the trailer.

@Sonicifyouwanit I realize the song won't be in the movie, but I'm not sure I'd agree that either Tarantino film, or even Butch and Sundance, set a tone that allows for the usage of modern music in them. Were you saying that the movies set the tone, or that the music itself sets the tone? I would agree with the latter. If it happened in Gladiator II, it would seem off somehow because the first film distinguished itself by not being... well, maybe postmodernist would be the proper word. Or revisionist. So if it happened in Gladiator II, it would stand out. But in practice, in a different movie, I wouldn't see anything wrong with doing it. But I would think the music would be setting the tone, not the movie itself.
I'm with John that Steve Rogers is Captain America in the MCU. I just don't see Sam as Captain America.

I am respectful, do not use foul language, do not insult any person or group, just disagree on certain topics like Will Smith and Game of Thrones.

@@Sonicifyouwanit I sent in two today from Stream Elements and named myself Benioff & Weiss on both.
I talked about Benioff and Weiss never leaving clues or telegraphing Daenarys’ sudden turn in the final season, and that those that were calling it years prior were simply seeing things the show runners had not intentionally included as clues.
The fact that she did end up suddenly turning in the final season was incidental coincidence and not something they had been setting up for years.
I basically brought up the topic of fans filling in story logic gaps for creators, and then attributing “breadcrumbs” to the creators when in reality the creators were not thinking as deeply as the fans were.
A few weeks ago I also submitted a multi-part Stream Elements chat regarding Will Smith being exiled from Hollywood and how certain egregious acts you can’t come back from and I don’t believe he should be allowed to act in Hollywood ever again. The world is still his oyster because he can pivot to a number of other industries adjacent to Hollywood acting such as independent film, podcasting, book writing, etc.

color grading is one thing, but getting an entire cast and crew of people together putting copious amounts of resources, time and money, of not one but hundreds to thousands of people into affect to recreate something thats already been made....

I disagree with John on his take on “What If?…”. Just because you don’t like it, doesn’t necessarily mean everyone hates it, and Disney should get rid of it. I like it and I know there are others who like it. Remember “art is subjective”.
Comments like this are why I have to hear John qualify every negative take with phrases like "I'm not trying to yuk on your yum" or "all art is subjective" 50 times every episode.
