The connection and operation of the ferrari transmission would be far better, reliability wise, not so much, makes sense to swap it out for a cheap one that would be easier to maintain or replace (and sell the old one) in a limo use case. But I dont know why not a ZF box or something tried and tested maybe it's just all that fit and why a liberty gt and not the legacy 2.5L trans? So many questions.
