I built one and ran coil on plug ignition from my AEM ECU...eliminate the wires, really looks cool, but those stacks are sweet

That is one sweet small block Windsor. Love it.

Beautiful engine but not for those with a shallow wallet. The block alone is $8,500 before any final machining. But I can dream.

This motor will make 750 horsepower with the kasse p38 heads and a carb. I think the fuel injection is the limitation on horsepower numbers cause muscle mustangs and fast fords ran the kasse 427 with fuel injection in a silver fox body they built and it made 600 hp.

The Kaase P38 heads are no longer available anyway but the limitation is the actual manifold of the Borla. We have done extensive manifold port work on a very similar engine package to increase output results but in the end it was alot of work that not every customer will want to pay for. These engines are usually for street rods and clients who want that beautiful look but also want a great driver quality so peak numbers are not always priority #1. Thanks for the comment and interest

How much and will it fit in my 1972 Cougar?

Prices will vary depending on exactly what options you choose whether it's a steel block or all aluminum as well as the front pulley choices and finishes such as polishing or custom powder coat. This style of engine package generally starts at $20,000 and goes up from there. Also yes it should fit in your cougar with minimal to no modifications.
