Great vlog once again could not get up early enough to have breakfast in the main restaurant so the buffet had to do Would say, its not the best buffet breakfast we have had, but it didn't stop me from stuffing my face each morning. love my jam on toast but it was always cold and rock hard, might bring my own toaster next time. Lunch times if we were on board i would grab a doggie treat burger also known as a veggie burger wife would have a beef burger very good The food in the evening was very good just the right size portion for us, left enough room for our wine and the late night buffet at midnight I know i have knocked the buffet food but you can always find something to eat its impossible to go hungry and there is always my stash of pringles on bring on board many thanks

We went on Britannia just after you! We really enjoyed the food in the main restaurants. I had a turkey dinner one night which was lovely and the brisket was really well cooked too. We finally got our confidence to ask for extra veg this trip and they were great with that. So great that one night for the two of us 4 bowls of veg came out - thankfully we were hungry and ate it all. We missed the quays compared with Iona like you did but overall we were impressed with our first trip on Britannia
Someone cooler than Robbie Williams from stoke-on-trent is : "Slash" from "guns and roses " - great guitar player . Also stoke-on-trent is very famous for beer . In the 1980s/90s - every "can" of beer seemed to be brewed there . Love the accents and word pronunciations ( boooooked ) . I love UK accents , extremely charming . Im from hamshire , so we dont really have one - although it morphs into a bit cockney when you have worked in london in the 90s and have cousins from london and east london way . Video very good - loved watching .....husband/boyfriend being the hero at the start , tracking down the waiter for the addition. Chips look good - but them portions are terrible . I dont think 2 would be enough , maybe 3 .... Everything looked good but i would have to order separately = 2 bacon , 2 sausage, basically 2 of everything . Finally - i hate beans on breakfast , hate might be a strong word . I just dont like them on breakfast .
You can have a bearnaise sauce with the steak that is on in the MDR every evening. If you have the chicken that is on every evening, you can ask them for the bearnaise sauce to go with that. They don't mind, and it tastes really nice.
All the food looked delicious Kev and Stacy, but I'm sure some is better than others. It's nice you can do the waiting online. We could be happy there, but don't know if we could eat all three meals a day. Would love to try!
Didn't you try the Main Dining Rooms. They are included in the price 😁 what we like about the speciality restaurants is they aren't too expensive, cheaper than a nice meal out at home 😁.

Just came back from a cruise on Britannia in general I thought the food was pretty good. Although some of the baguettes hardly had any Piccalilly in same with pickle . I had lemon sole one night and it was awful just like a wet soggy sponge . Some of the service we had was a bit slow . Tea at breakfast was sometimes cold ,when I asked for another cup I waited ages . Ratings out of 10 probably a 7 .
Hi in the Restaurants we ate early so we seemed to be ok. Later on might of been a different story. The bars at night were very busy though and understaffed .We had to wait a while to be served. Staff were run off their feet and didn't have enough hands. It was also Easter holidays though when we went and a full ship.
Many thanks for the reply, , the Iona and the Arcadia were very much under staffed last year when we sailed . A number of the Bars and restaurants were closed as well . Going on Arvia mid June, can't wait. Really enjoy the videos, keep it up.

Not 100% as we didn't have the drinks package but im sure if you go the bar while the mrs is at the table they will let you order a drink for both of you. We never had to go the bar too fetch our own drink because both times we have been on the Virtuosa the service has been that good they just come to your table.
It seems the booking system has changed since I last went on Britannia (last April). You could book a specific time in all restaurants. This is good to know as we are off again in 3 weeks on the ship with our little one. Did you manage to visit all of the speciality restaurants on board?
Hi yes it's strange as when we did the Iona last year we could pick a time also so not sure why they've changed it 🤔 and yes we did the beach house and the glass house (videos to come on them also) hope you have a lovely time with your little one 😀
Club Dining, we always ask for at the time of booking. 2nd sitting, table for 8. Hardly ever had a bad table, waiters get to know your likes and dislikes, and each night isn't groundhog day.......conversation moves on.

Hi Nick, all of the food in this video is included. There are some speciality restaurants onboard you can pay extra for but they are optional 👍

They also do Omelettes but not on Menu, just ask like we did on Iona 😊
