Jonathan Bailey is such a talented actor. This series is absolutely amazing, Matt and Jonathan crushed it. One of the best tv series out there.
Fellow Travelers is a phenomenal limited series. I watched it weekly as Paramount+ released it and recently re-watched it in a binging format. Doing so allowed me to notice all the subtleties and foreshadowing that I missed the first time around. Regardless of how many times Matt or Jonathan are overlooked during the award season, they undeniably delivered career-defining performances that will transcend generations.
I live in Pennsylvania please understand, it is a large state and the majority are liberal or left leaning and accept and celebrate all people. I'm horrified that Jonathan was told and probably now thinks everyone in this state is a terrible person. That's absolutely not true and I just want to apologize on behalf of all Pennsylvanians and the United States for that matter for that interaction. The a-hole that threaten you DOES NOT represent us and I'm so deeply disturbed that happened. 😔😭💔
There's an old adage that Pennsylvania is Philadelphia and Pittsburgh with Alabama in the middle.

What a shame! Jonathan Bailey should have been honored with more awards! Only one or two? Shame!
Wow. It was already borderline unprofessional how often Chris would focus in on the physical and sexual parts of Jonathan's experience, but to follow up his description of the horror and terror of that homophobic incident with a diversion to Jonathan's looks is so pervy and tone deaf, no wonder we still have so far to go in moving society forward - Chris owes Jonathan and all the rest of us an apology for his disgusting interview and reaction to something so serious.
@ counsellour, listen again. Chris praised the show and everything about it. Jonathan described the incident in great detail and spoke about context, etc. And he wrapped up by saying he's the most privileged of the lgbt folks. Chris was supportive. I've seen many straight men get really excited to discover that their support of gay rights is more than just intellectual, that they can watch gay sexual passionate love and actually celebrate it. He'll calm down eventually.
