@@TechnoMusicFreaks if it’s about durability for regular club djing, then these are the ones. If you’re a bedroom / home wedding dj, maybe something else would sound better.
I just got thee AIAIAI with the alcantara ear cups and still fealt great after my five-hour gig last Saturday. They were unexpectedly not as loud as my V-Moda M100s.
I have the Ninja Tunes, the Beatport edition's and another basic pair of TMA-2's and I love them all... Such a great concept and the execution is flawless. You can really mix and match and make the best headphones for you.
@@spongesystemusicHD25 definitely sounds better. I DJ in a duo, my DJ partner has aiaiai and I have HD25s and some times we use his, sometimes we use mine. I always prefer the sound from mine. Less bass boosted but sounds more accurate to what’s actually being played.
I am a HD25 user planning to switch to this but I don't know which sound units to choose ? I shinking about the S05 or S01 which one is closer to HD25 sound? (and best for DJ-ing) Acording to the sound profile curve/diagram the TMA Treble Accuracy is teribble and it is week in mid range with the S02 (punchy sound unit) anybody who own this can clarify how does it sounds compared to hd25??
Impedance - not checked sorry, not a factor for DJs and DJ headphones, but easy enough to check on their tech specs or a hifi site. Sound isolation - good, these are a DJ headphone where that is a prerequisite, so they're closed back, high physical ear pressure etc.
Sry Phil but I must mention... you place the each cup on the wrong side my guy, red cable should be in red hole and black cable should be in black hole which is going to give you an unbalance sound (im just saying)👍 carry on though
Do they really ship 2 cables? They don't state it on the website when selecting this preset. Might be added to your review unit to inform about the other options.
No they don't actually ship the yellow coiled cable, you have to buy that separately at £25. All you get as part of the pack is the black straight cable.
Been using Aiaiai for 8+ years now. Reliable, durable and easily repaired if needed.
Yup, it's what we love about them.
@@digitaldjtips also, their customer service has been incredible!
can you answer how does it sounds compared to HD25? and which sound unit to choose if I want something similar sounding than the HD25?

Do yo use Aiaiai Dj or DJ XE? Is there a big difference

Thanks for sharing your experience

Yeah, a good idea!
Went with the originals and recently added the Wireless+ - now my main headphones, no wires
Cool, and cool that you can add rather than replace.
Been using them since 2012 (TMA-1 Beatport Edition).....now using the TMA-2 DJ. Have a set of Vmoda which I don't even touch. Love my TMA's
thanks for sharing.
I have tma2 studio preset with alcantara earcups. Used them for DJing and general use. Amazing. So comfortable and sound great.
Nice one fella!
r these usabale for production?
Yes
You’ve actually put the speakers on upside down because they don’t have quick release on one side, they are only on the top
Yes we realised that later, thanks!
I have the HD-25 and i like them they're perfect but it hurts when you wear them to long. The nice thing about AIAIAI is that they're customizable
Yes, good point - with the HD-25s, they're modular, but you can't change much (maybe a coiled cable for a straight).
Everything about AiAiAi is great except the sound 😈
What don't you like about the sound?
@@digitaldjtips Comparing the TMA-2 DJ Preset with the HD25 feels like cotton wool was stuck between the speaker and the ear.
Is this true? I still not decide wether going for the hd25 or tma2 xe or tma2

I desite about choosing the right model, I read s02 model is too bassy, but for djing is better s05 or this new s01 model? I guess s05 is superior
It's fine margins really, I wouldn't worry too much about this. they also do talk about the sound profile on their website.

Why the switch?
Sound wise, are they as good as the HD25’s?
Yes I'd say so
What is the impedance and how good is the sound exclusion?

Without looking back at the review, we will have described what came out of the box we were sent.
Understandable, just meant to make people aware watching reviews before buying and thinking there's always a straight and a curled cable in the box :)
