Ugh I’m a literal blubbering freaking mess! That moment when you said “I’m sad cause a chapter in our life is over...” I felt that. It was all beauty though. You didn’t lose her, you gained another member to your family like you said!

I was just married on May 2nd as well! I know how she must have felt, all the chaos surrounding one of the biggest days of your life. So happy she was able to have a small ceremony still. We were limited to 10 people as well. We were welcomed by some of our close family and friends that lined our road with signs, balloons, bubbles, and champagne! It was a beautiful day and we as well look forward to celebrating with everyone later in the year. I have loved seeing the creative things that people have been doing to celebrate big moments in their lives during the pandemic. Love is not cancelled! That is one thing that can not be taken away!

Going with our daughter to pick out a wedding gown was I think one of the most emotional days in my life, all I could see was the nurses placing this 7 pound angel from above in my arms for the first time. Best wishes for all the love, laughter and happiness forever 💗

Kally was stunning! You're allowed to shed some tears, I'M crying and she's not even my baby!! I too am a softy and I know when that day comes for my daughter (an only child!), I will be struggling to hold my emotions as well. I think as moms we put ourselves on autopilot when we have to. Letting them walk on their own is hard! Congratulations to Kally and Felix. I wish them many years of joy and happiness!

I cried right along with you! My 20 year old son got married last Spring and I felt like I was constantly explaining why I was crying. That’s the way I described it too that his childhood chapter was closing. I totally understand. K&F’s wedding was absolutely perfect. Thank you for sharing some details with us. Omgosh! I love that she picked a dress with sleeves. You have no idea how glad I was to see that. I just think it makes the dress look so much more elegant.

I think this has been a huge lesson from our Heavenly Father....it might not be what we imagined but it is what He imagined.

I have two girls so i can imagine that i will be a total mess when the day comes. They are still 12 and 5 right now, but time totally goes by suuuuuper fast. Thanks for sharing such a nice moment in your families life.

@Estela Morales, I have 2 girls as well but my oldest is going to be 18 in 2 months. I know she will be getting married sooner than later & I'll be the hot mess express that day. My youngest will be 12 in June so I've got a good ways to go with her but I'm sure it won't be any easier.

I have 2 girls but my oldest is turning 18 in 2 months. While I don't see a wedding in the foreseeable future, I do know it is coming sooner than later. I'll definitely be the hot mess express that day. I'm sure it won't be any easier when my youngest gets married either.
Kimmy!! Thank you for sharing this beautiful day with all of us! I cried the entire time right along with you! Our kiddos grow so fast. “The days are long but the years are short”. My oldest and only boy is almost 17 and my girls are almost 15, 11, and 7. I am a lot like you and very emotional. I cry every year they get older and move into new grades, etc. It’s bittersweet to watch your babies grow. Kally looked stunning and I wish her and Felix all the best! Kimmie, Kally looked so much like you when she found her dress. I remember when my oldest son got married. I was pretty much a basket case on the day of his wedding. His bride gave me a gift when she first saw me. Upon opening the box, I realized she had bought me a fancy handkerchief, because she knew I would cry, which I did.
I was sad, but happy for them. I looked at it as a new chapter of their life mixed in with ours. It was a beautiful day.

The one thing noones considers when buying a wedding dress is the poor groom having to undo it at the end of the night 😂😂 i wish my mum had cared as much about my wedding as you did❤️
This Babybee Huh our wedding night I pictured my husband doing the slow undress........ Nope! He unzipped the dress, my huge crinoline, and bustier pushed the dress off my shoulders and pulled everything down in one shot! I was like do you know it took my three bridesmaids, and Mama an hour to get me into all this gown and veil and in 5 seconds you got it all off! We still laugh about that 18 1/2 yrs later! That's us There
I had those buttons on my dress, the dressmaker said don't be silly and use your fingers use a croche hook. It was a life saver at 1am, after a few drinks buttons are a nightmare.
Or he could just rip it off.

My daughters was changed was from her July 25,2020 to June of 2021 I could cry but it is better for them and everyone traveling in. Wish Kallie and Felix much happiness, xox

When you were doing her makeup, I lost it! I have just one daughter and we are so close, as you and Kally are, and I can only imagine when this day comes for me. My momma is my best friend and at my reception we had a mom/daughter dance (to Jo Dee Messina's "every little girls dream") its not traditional, but I saw it at another wedding and loved it! Grateful for that moment with my mom!
