Great job ! Best wishes from Wales .
You're a delightful person Rebecca & you did an excellent job on this build Gavin is a blessed man to have you 😉👍
Good looking car. I like it better than the original black and red.
Can't wait for mine to arrive in 2022 😤
Excellent video!
Thank you very much!
Rebecca did an AWESOME job on this build. If I had one of these buggies I would definitely refer back to this video before building it.
Really like Rebeccas videos 😀👍
Thanks for sharing this video-Glad I subscribed-plenty of videos to catch up on✨
Nice vid Gav. Me and my son are loving the content!
Glad it’s not just me that had trouble with Wild One stickers on the shocks.
Spares parts are going to be available, Tamico already list them as available and Model Build are listing them as arriving in the UK with the next batch of kits in April/May next year
I hope so, replacement parts weren’t listed on the UK distributor database last week.
Great looking Tamiya Buggy & it’s a must have!!!
top tip...use windex to put decals on...easy!

You two are so cool!
love the car
You did a great job with this one Mrs!.. the silver box part you talked about near the end of the video was originally on the 1984 fav and it was a cover for the receiver or Rx batteries, that was of course before there were any bec mechanical speed controllers or esc's👍
The aluminium bumper looks awesome 😊
Beautiful RC buggy 👍
Great video Rebecca. I really like the look of this buggy.
Fun and informative! Interestingly the tip on the diff being weak, is very helpful. I stripped gears on buggies every week back in the day!!! How we forget. Many thanks 👌
Amazing attention to detail it looks great
Great video, Rebecca! Well done. 😀
I can only agree the rckicks group/community is the friendliest and a really sharing group 😊❤️
Looks like a fun build! Turned out really nice!
In all seriousness you guys just keep getting better and better - I’d of thought you’d have a hundred K subscribers by now!
Subscribers are slowing unfortunately. Not sure what to focus on improving next. Any constructive feedback most welcome.
@@RCKickschannel It's OK, really, guys. Unfortunately YT will only really push for very clickbaity stuff that is short and allows you to move on to the next uneventful silly clip in no time. Quite the opposite of what you've built here.
I can only hope there will be space for this level of quality and informative videos in the future. Although the RC world is big, it's not as huge as most silly "creative content" being pushed at the moment, so don't try to to aim at to name an example of fun channel gone bad, RC Sparks. Just see what they post these days and you'll understand what I mean of how that deranged
Takes me back to 1987 when I build my (original) Wild One…..still have it somewhere, to many memories to throw it out……
Nice build Rebecca 😎👍🏻
Rebecca has the most wonderful hair
Great vid well done.. love this car looks awesome..
Looks nice 👌
Verdade show
You go girl! I love it!
i'm sure if you feature more in Gav's video's the sub's will go up, you are very easy to listen to and genuine sound keen for the hobby.
Unfortunately Rebecca is manic with her own work and the kids so it doesn't leave her much free time to come on the show.
Great video but I definitely prefer the classic wild one. Hope you will receive it quickly.
Hope so as I’m really looking forward to it.
What a cool build
Wow that is an amazing car! Next on my list 👍
Awesome look BUGGY! Love it!
Cor blimey what a build.
Great job, Rebecca. I enjoyed the video.
That was really enjoyable, she looks like a good shelf queen 😍
That’s not a nice thing to say about Becs, lol 😝
Great build, turned out really nice.
Good job on the build and tips. I'm putting a ball diff in mine. Mine will be ran indoors only.
What one will you fit?
Thanks for the detailed insights.
Lovely video, looks a great and enjoyable build! How long did the complete build take for young Rebecca? Super video, great suff! 👍
Rebecca.... Mine will be DRIVEN, as intended! 😉😜
Good job on the build. I agree that the Chassis should have been Blue. I'm more anxious than ever to finally get mine!! 😳😭 The US is STILL having supply issues....
Cracking build video very detailed👍😊😊 I built a Wild One back in the day, I wonder if Tamiya fixed the driveshaft and differential issues on this latest release? No spare parts from Tamiya - best kept as a shelf queen then?🤔🤔🙄😉😊
Nice build.
Excellent build video, really enjoyed it! I like the look of that metal front bumper, but it does look a tad too thick, it won't flex under impact and protect the front of the buggy. Then again, if you run it just put the plastic front bumper on. And as for that steering servo, 25KG?!?! Blimey, a bit overkill ;) Also, I think Tamiya should definitely put bearings in all of their kits these days, other manufacturers do it at far lower price points, I'm sure Tamiya could do it too!
Yes, i would not drive it with the metal bumper. One frontal impact and the chassis might get a crack or eaven brake completly. Looks great though.
Nice build Rebecca gave lost his place on the channel
It’s interesting how similar Tamiya’s Wild One is to a Kyosho Scorpion. It’s like Tamiya copied the design from Kyosho. The Kyosho is much better detailed though and has metal chassis, suspension arms and gearbox casing. With Tamiya using the metal look parts it looks even more similar. Hopefully that doesn’t rub Tamiya fans wrong, but it looks so similar an has very similar suspension design
Yep I agree with you
Definitely similar, for me the wider, lower and more squat stance of the Wild One looks much better but the practically full metal chassis, suspension parts etc on the Scorpion are very appealing. It would be nice if there was a full metal and carbon space frame chassis available for the Wild One along with trailing arms and the cage, that would be awesome!
Interesting how Kyosho copied a Volkswagen based dune buggy…
(Actually that’s what makes it so great!)
While the design is similar it has some fundamental diffrencies. Build quality and strength is diffrent, Scorpion is usefull as a race car base and the wild one is not really up to that task. Also while both have the trailing arms scorpion has angled trailing arms in rear and double trailing arms in front. So Scorpion is way better chassis geometry.
That's A Nice Off Road R/C Buggy. 😃👍.
Gostei de você agora vou estar sempre aqui isso é uma inteligente aula de como montar tudo muito bem produzido parabéns muito sucesso eu tenho um MCD 34cc gasolina
The rear wheels are very wobbly...?
Of cause they are it's an 1980's Tamiya .🤣🤣🤣
I love the way Rebecca's shirt makes her look like a uniformed professional car mechanic. (I seem to like seeing women in motorsports or any kind of reasonably safe and not inherently destructive competition, but now I'm wondering, maybe it's just the uniforms 🤣)
LOL
Hadir menyimak kak ya moga sukses selalu ya hadir
Has Bec always been this hot, or am I just late to the party?
Nice retro buggy, will definetly get one. But for now i have 4 other kits to build... Very good job Rebecca! It's nice and refreshing to see a woman do such a video. Gavin is a lucky man :)
Shame the Rere Wild One hasnt come out on time as promised and then you both could have done a build off together, which I think you talked about a while ago....
Yep it has been pushed back to end Dec beginning of Jan by the looks of it.
2 of my favourite channels use the SAME MUSIC, whatever shall I do lol. Any more trucks on the way?
I haven’t finished the first one yet lol I plan to do more, yes.
Hi Gavin mine came in the post today! Blickhead is really beautifull where did you get the frontbumper? I know Rebecca says where from but for me hard to understand with her braces and all… a link to the seller would be great!
Hi, miragerc.com/
すばらしい !
hi, may i ask what servo are you using in this car? thank you.
At the end of the build you mention the thorp dirt burner diff upgrade, are they available still?
Hard to find them these days. Hopefully someone will make them again.
That looks awesome 😎 I need to clean off and sell my original wild one so I can buy this new block head kit. Any idea what an original 80s wild one is worth? Good all original condition all working?
Want one
I really enjoy this channel and the builds. However between you two and Tamiya Legends I'm not getting sold on these Tamiya kits, either the new ones or rereleases. I want to drive them, but no bearings, no part support and I've seen a few builds where plastic and metal parts break during assembly. I bought a CC-01 2 years ago cause I really wanted one as a preteen when it came out, however it's looking like that is going to be my only Tamiya kit.
After building Kyosho and Team Associated kits its hard going back to Tamiya. They look awesome but the quality just isnt there.
Would that bumper fit on the Sand Scorcher!?
No it doesn't Nino.
👍👍👍👍💖💖💖💖💖
Do you have a link to that bumper??
You don’t know what a treasure you are. We are moving and my partner just wants me to give cars in their boxes away to her friends kids to save space. “Oh sure darling: my hornet! No problem! My fast attack vehicle! Yeah that can get tossed! My frog! God it’s pink! Why would I keep that! Yeah honey I know that red one isn’t built yet but Liam may have trouble building a 4wd car!
You are a treasure!
Sorry to hear that. Time for an upgrade Hans. Not the wife, RC cars. 😜
awesome! so the thorp diff from the fox fits the wild one?
Apparently yes, but finding one is the challenge these days.
I just got this kit, I am a newbe, any recommendation of parts to get. I already have the radio and a Tamiya type battery and that is it. I am in the states.
Bearings
@@RCKickschannel Thanks, which ones?
Very cool build, and even cooler shirt. Looks good on you. Pretty perfect.👍
Would b better if we saw u build it like othere u done n u should do more ur better lookin than gav lol 😂
fit as f£€$
Same rear set up as the Frog.
Anybody has ever build this car with the optional led light unit TLU-01? Because I am desperately trying to put it inside the car but without success 😩
Are you having issues with the LED unit and finding space in the chassis, or something else?
@@RCKickschannel I have indeed issues with finding place in the chassis between the servo, the ECU and the driver there isn t a lot of space remaining and as it a collector I d like to do something as clean as possible.
What's a shacy???
Don’t know, don’t care.
@@RCKickschannel You said it, was just looking for the definition of the word.
Thanks for sharing this build.
To be honest while it looks nice; the price, quality and overall design of this kit means I'm glad I've not received mine yet. I think this is a hard pass for me now.
