How do you determined where to dig/hunt I own two different pastures with curved creeks on both. I’ve always wanted to find some on my properties in North Alabama but don’t know where to start looking. I’m pretty sure there will be some on my property since I’m near the battleground of horseshoe bend.
Anywhere the soil gets disturbed or along the banks of the creeks. I like on lake Martin just south of you and I have not found many arrowheads but lot of tools and pottery.

I live in bama,hunt them in Chilton County. Find lots of quartz there.river rock everywhere. Find some pottery too.always fun.nice video

How do you find permission to search? I don’t live far away and can’t get permission for nothing
My buddy has a lot of connections through farmers. He process a whole lot of meats for them!
