Hmm I'm not sure if the Vice City Stories Neon really suits Vice City, as the idea was kind of this is taking inspiration from the latter seasons of Miami Vice when they got the testarossa, IE 86, 87, 88 and things got darker and more washed out, while Vice City Stories was earlier, around the more filmed on the street and as they went in the early 80's with it having more neon that stuck out, like 82, 83, 84, where you could see the 70's merge into the 80's with a mix of the more earth tones things gradually giving way to really bright out of place colors before they decided to tone it down and mix and blend it better and that Benny's Cafe thing is actually from the miami vice pilot, with the in the air tonight scene, which wasnt a real thing, they just stuck a cool looking neon sign there, which was also I think why the stinger got an overhaul to be a more detailed and better looking model in that as its literally Crocketts daytona from that scene just reworked and made to look better for the game, hence why it got so much attention, plus that song being on the soundtrack and you kinda didnt show that off honestly lol as I'd be really curious if they brought that version back and actually allowed you to get polished black versions of it, which you could only do with a cheatcode in vice city stories then reset the game so you had the black Stinger, and the Cheetah in your garage, which really looked awesome with their updated VCS models and no dirt on them while every other car in the game always had on as default, even when the cars got resprayed, which was really really stupid looking, especially when they resprayed that van in one of the cutscenes and the dirt was still on it lol also the Infernus is actually the original Infernus, same with the CRX, blista thing I think there, that was literally what the original model looked like before they had to change them for legal reasons as rockstar was planning on straight using the real cars just in its more late miami vice meets scarface look they had going also I bet the mod was taken down because of the songs, the music industry can be a right bunch of assholes, and that is kinda stealing too, plus I honestly think unless it was something like the game had those tracks, but they were removed for copywrite issues latter on which happened with Michal Jackson and Lyonel Richie, hence why I looked and found one of the early versions of the game for my collection, which you can tell by the code on the CD actually you really shouldnt mess with the soundtrack, and also Smugglers blues was literally a cut radio track they wanted on there, along with you belong to the city both from miami vice's first two seasons, where they literally had Glenn fry on, which really shows you how blatent they were at showing their influence with vice back when they made Homages, and kept the unfunny statire to a minimum, which is why Vice will always be better than san andreas in my book, they went from doing fun homage's with the occasional dirty joke thrown in, to flat out disrespectful satires of everything as dear god did that game need a CJ and the radio DJ from mastersounds shut up button installed and gta 5, well I wish their was a drop a nuke on lesters head button, and a just play the music white boy option for all the stations with all the unfunny comentary either muted or removed all together and a dear god please shut up button for all the pedestrians/other drivers swearing at us all the time thing which in people looking through the files was because the developers literally set all the pedestrains to auto hate us as default, something they still havent fixed which just shows how poor the developers intentions and feelings towards the fan base really was back in 2013 when the game came out as I miss this old rockstar, when they knew how to do things right, heck nothing highlights how jarring this change in their additude was than the original GTA 3 vs Liberty City Stories with Donald Love like 3 he is a mysterious intriguing character played by the guy from dune and blue Velvet that you want to learn more about and then with LCS they just throw all that under the bus to make a joke out of him,
Dude this mod made me complete GTA Vice City 2 TIMES IN A ROW! 2 TIMES! The second I was done with the game I started playing again and completed it again! Amazing job, they need to make a GTA 3 Remastered 🙌
Imagine living in Miami in a mansion listening to 80's and drive along ocean drive in the sunset and say, I was here 15 years ago, the only difference is that I was holding a controller. I would literally have the biggest smile on my face and cry with happiness.
Imagine if Rockstar endorsed the modding community instead of fighting against it. We could've gotten a mod library that would dwarf even Skyrim. I just played it for the first time today, the first thing I liked about this is the radio it has the cut-out MJ's songs, I just started the game, entered the car and the first thing i hear is MJ's voice singing Billie jean. After some time, I hear Tears for fear and I just cried man, I never listen to any of the gta game's radio, but vice city reviced radio really gives the vibe that you are riding your car in the 90s. Also, the added cut content of tommy's dialogue after a cutscene ends really gives out a great detail for his character for example in diaz's 1st mission after the cutscene tommy says this : "Who does this diaz guy think he is, if he is the best guy vice city can offer then this is going to be a piece of cake" I really hope the mod will be back on the channel for more people to play this absolute masterpiece

Hmm I'm not sure if the Vice City Stories Neon really suits Vice City, as the idea was kind of this is taking inspiration from the latter seasons of Miami Vice when they got the testarossa, IE 86, 87, 88 and things got darker and more washed out, while Vice City Stories was earlier, around the more filmed on the street and as they went in the early 80's
with it having more neon that stuck out, like 82, 83, 84, where you could see the 70's merge into the 80's with a mix of the more earth tones things gradually giving way to really bright out of place colors
before they decided to tone it down and mix and blend it better
and that Benny's Cafe thing is actually from the miami vice pilot, with the in the air tonight scene, which wasnt a real thing, they just stuck a cool looking neon sign there, which was also I think why the stinger got an overhaul to be a more detailed and better looking model in that
as its literally Crocketts daytona from that scene just reworked and made to look better for the game, hence why it got so much attention, plus that song being on the soundtrack
and you kinda didnt show that off honestly lol as I'd be really curious if they brought that version back and actually allowed you to get polished black versions of it, which you could only do with a cheatcode in vice city stories
then reset the game so you had the black Stinger, and the Cheetah in your garage, which really looked awesome with their updated VCS models and no dirt on them
while every other car in the game always had on as default, even when the cars got resprayed, which was really really stupid looking, especially when they resprayed that van in one of the cutscenes and the dirt was still on it lol
also the Infernus is actually the original Infernus, same with the CRX, blista thing I think there, that was literally what the original model looked like before they had to change them for legal reasons
as rockstar was planning on straight using the real cars just in its more late miami vice meets scarface look they had going
also I bet the mod was taken down because of the songs, the music industry can be a right bunch of assholes, and that is kinda stealing too, plus I honestly think unless it was something like the game had those tracks, but they were removed for copywrite issues latter on
which happened with Michal Jackson and Lyonel Richie, hence why I looked and found one of the early versions of the game for my collection, which you can tell by the code on the CD actually
you really shouldnt mess with the soundtrack, and also Smugglers blues was literally a cut radio track they wanted on there, along with you belong to the city both from miami vice's first two seasons, where they literally had Glenn fry on, which really shows you how blatent they were at showing their influence with vice
back when they made Homages, and kept the unfunny statire to a minimum, which is why Vice will always be better than san andreas in my book, they went from doing fun homage's with the occasional dirty joke thrown in, to flat out disrespectful satires of everything
as dear god did that game need a CJ and the radio DJ from mastersounds shut up button installed
and gta 5, well I wish their was a drop a nuke on lesters head button, and a just play the music white boy option for all the stations with all the unfunny comentary either muted or removed all together
and a dear god please shut up button for all the pedestrians/other drivers swearing at us all the time thing
which in people looking through the files was because the developers literally set all the pedestrains to auto hate us as default, something they still havent fixed
which just shows how poor the developers intentions and feelings towards the fan base really was back in 2013 when the game came out
as I miss this old rockstar, when they knew how to do things right, heck nothing highlights how jarring this change in their additude was than the original GTA 3 vs Liberty City Stories with Donald Love
like 3 he is a mysterious intriguing character played by the guy from dune and blue Velvet that you want to learn more about and then with LCS they just throw all that under the bus to make a joke out of him,

This looks really good and I’ll definitely try this out for my next replay. Don’t like the removal of Tommy’s run though. I thought it added character to him.
I am gonna check out, subbed :)
This is awesome.
A community game remaster that isn't just a gimmicky graphics tech demo?
This might just be exactly what gets me to replay the game for the. Eight time.
Bro any way to fix transparent or invisible buildings
@@Hamza20078 Which transparent/invisible building? I didn't spot any
@@Its.Kashmir Every buildings are invisible
@@Hamza20078 bruh i think downloaded the wrong version or from the wrong place
@@Its.Kashmir I downloaded it from the steam forums
This is cool.
I want GTA3 equivalent of that mod! I'm jealous.
Completing this game was a torture and i cant imagine finishing all the missions again💀
Vice City WHAT?!
*livedevil starts playing in the background*
Great video I subbed
Nice, an overhaul mod list that does something other than make everything look wet and crash even on an RTX 3070.
what a nice remaster , better than so called "definitive edition" , by the way you should have restored police cars beta and beta weaopnes
Oh.... Vice City.... nostalgia.... 🌴🌴🌴
Now I would love to see something similar with GTA 3
I found out about the mod from English Ben's playthrough of it. I have plans to try out the mod after my exams are over
Great representation for this mod. Dedicated modders keep this trilogy alive. Sadly t2 attack their own community.
This is AWESOME, i wish they do the same for GTA 3 !
Never gets old
11:53 that cutscene has been always in the original game
In the original once you reach the boat the screen slowly fades out and your now in a rail shooter which made less sense. They have restored that cutscene in this mod
This is amazing, should be done also for GTA III and San Andreas.
"We as GTA fans"
Uuuh you meant human beings with eyeballs & feelings
AWESOME VIDEO, AWESOME MOD! Just don't forget the download link!
Download link is in the description for the trailer of the mod! That's linked in the description. Just wanna share the love and redirect traffic to his page!
@@BladeOpotato oh thanks! i was looking everywhere in YOUR description XD Hope you bring more attention to these kinds of mods for the classic trilogy!
pls make something like this on San Andread, W showcases btw.
❤i m enjoying it ❤
The updated infernus is actually the beta version of it. It was scrapped because it looks too much like the Lamborghini Countach, the that the infernus ia based of.
trying to get my dualsense controller to work with it is tedious but besides that its all around the best way to play vice city
there’s a universe out there that has reViced as the official definitive edition.
Amazing mod!improves the original game by a tenfold and doesn't introduced anything that feels out of place Just as i like it!
Is there any mod like this for gta 3?
i love the fact that they added some thing of gta vice city story i love that game i waish there was a gta vice city story mod for pc
yooo they added the Diana Ross track that the granddaddy of vaporwave is based on
Vice City is in my top 3 games.
I wish we had more games set in the 80s
The vehicles seem to have realistic speeds now.
They do, and flip a lot easier now. Kinda reminded me of GTA IV's handling and I'm all for that. Can't wait for VC Nextgen Edition later this year to get that real IV feel
@@BladeOpotato All of us are waiting with impatience for that project to be finally released🤩
You should check out GTA Vice City VHS mod, i think you'd like it
I s that 7 stars? But your biggest opponent is a 1 star wanted level.
I need to check out if the og ps2 vice city had blur effect...
I wish this modlist was available for the definitive edition, or atleast have better graphics, I loved Vice city and it was always my favorite game ever but after playing DE i loved DE so much and i just can't go back to the old version.
Interesting. Probably gonna give this mod a shot. That is if it is not hard to install it. Because the main reason why I'm not playing mods for certain games is because they require additional things to be done to the game, in order to install them properly. And because of that I tend to mess up things and it breaks the game, and then I think that the mod is not working for me or that the version of the game does not match.
Thankfully Orni-X provides it all in one file(including the game). So you just drop the folder in your computer and open the game
Hmm...nice remaster!
That mod is amazing! Are there mods like this for GTA 3 and San Andreas that would be awesome?!
You should try Vice extended 3.0 mod, its very good and adds alot of new features
great video, question, what are the songs that was used in this video?
Songs are now updated in the description!
This is great! Anything equivalent for 3 and San Andreas?
