But seriously, I've only had it for an hour and I already know that I'm going enjoy the heck out of this phone. Maybe not for most, but sure a gamechanger for me! The only thing I was missing from my short use of iPhone 4S way back, was the manual video that an app Filmic Pro provided. And no app on Android could do the same. Either the bitrate was low, or the camera just didn't support some feature. Now this finally is a damn proper one, and straight from LG, not some third party app. If local price is reasonable, I'd might even get it! Or wait for others to catch up with this level of camera awesomeness. Thanks a lot Danny! It's great to see someone who appreciates this :)

Love the fact that OEMS are fine tuning and really improving their software. The specs means less and less now a days, how everything ties together is what matters.
You know I've been using Samsung cellphones for many years, all of them were Note series note 2, 4 and 7. After last year Note 7 battery fiasco our mobile company gave us to use LG V20. After maybe month or two I started to see these small jewels like manual video and photo options. Lots of things in LG made me love this V20 so much so I don't think I will be turning back. If only this year LG made V30 to look like G6 or S8 plus then that would be an amazing device!
In the early 2000s, we would throw around the term "Camera Phone" for any phone that could take photos. Once that became the mobile phone standard the term disappeared. I feel with what LG have implemented the term needs a revival to differentiate between phones with cameras, and this which is a Camera Phone.

Finally!!! I Like my S6, but this could be a very useful feature as I started my youtube channel recording with my mobile devices. I hate recording videos in low light situations with the S6 because as soon as you hit record, it darkens drastically (in really low light situations) but could take a picture realistic to actual atmosphere. I would love to see something like this implemented on the S6, either that or I will just sell it and get the V10 lol.

Has the ability to control Shutter speed on a Smart Phone camera ever been implemented? I recently got the LG V10 after I brought up to the T-Mobile rep that one thing I like to do is take photos and she directed me to the LG V10. I'm ridiculously impressed with the amount of controls available in Manual. Hell, you can even control Shutter Speed to take long exposure photos as well as manually change ISO! I damn near shit my pants in excitement when over the weekend I was above a freeway, set the camera at a Shutter Speed of 30 Seconds and got a great "Traffic Light Trails" type of photo that closely rivals what I can get with my DSLR! Now I just need to figure out of I can take Multiple Shots in Manual with a 1/6000 shutter speed!
Awesome to have all these features in a smartphone... Yes it is a game changer, but not for all... I would love to see these settings on the next gen iPhone... Which is that case on your iPhone 6S plus???

I don't know what crack you're on, but that V10's video footage completely trounces the video of any entry-level ILC in decent lighting. Wish the new G5 had the V10's manual video mode.

Rory Rumfelt I highly appreciate your prompt response. I've always wanted the V10 for its camera, but I shudder to downgrade to the Snapdragon 808 and the video stabilization on the V10 is poor. The G5 would've been great, but I'd like manual video on both cams for maximum flexibility. I suppose I'll wait for the V20 instead. Leaked renders show it has dual rear cameras like the G5. Just 1 more month of waiting.

Hey Danny! Great Channel. I definitely think you're right, this new LG V10 is a definite game changer. I've shot all of my video for my channel with my very much outdated but fairly reliable Samsung Galaxy Note 2 with decent 1080p quality but found out rather quickly I needed an upgrade. Not being able to justify the expense of a new camera+accessories the LG finds itself squarely within my crosshairs! ....my OCD is kicking in sorry! StabiliZATION! Bye keep up the GREAT work Sir!
One cannot compare this to a DSLR. This is equivalent to perhaps one of the best point and shoot cameras on the market that isn't too advanced with hardware.
