@@eugeniaedits Awe, thank you,... I missed you too! Haven't been online so much as of late, but I always look out for your videos when I do. I love it, and I'm glad you're trying to solder new things. I've seen some people soldering resin pieces they've made and doing it very successfully. I've tried it and maybe it's the resin I use, or temperature,🤷♀️but the resin bubbles or burns just a bit. Maybe I will learn the skill it takes later, but for now I just resin after I solder the piece. I'm glad your plastic piece turned out n held up well to the heat. I have seen some chunkier necklaces done on solid thick wires ( a circlette?) And also cuff looking metal pieces.....maybe that could work too. I love looking at traditional tribal body jewelry from native peoples around the world ,and I get lots of unconventional jewelry inspiration that way as well. Maybe even a silk sleeved rope as the necklace and then attach your pieces to that? Just thoughts. Hope you are doing well, lady!! You are so creative and your designs are so fun, I always look forward to seeing what you're up to. Keep having fun! I love it too!!✨💖
Awww!! Thank you!!! You are such a huge supporter and I appreciate you so so much! I’ve been inspired by Rick Owens lately. I’ve been studying him a lot, so who knows where he’s going to take me I have not done any designs reflecting that but they’re coming for sure. Looking up some ancient tribal jewelry is definitely a great idea. It’s always good to get inspired and then decompose the original design and deconstruct it and use it in your own way. I have not tried a resin yet still, I think I will face the same issue that you do with it bubbling up cause if heat. I’ve changed my tip lately to create textures so I have been playing with that. I will be posting a video soon. I am done, setting up my sewing studio downstairs pretty much so I will start posting more consistently as I don’t want to be soldering at home. I definitely thought of attaching pieces to kimonos I make so we are on the same page ha ha! ♥️♥️♥️

I know whatever creative inspiration you get will come out into something incredible. I had to look up Rick Owens, but now I see what you're talking about...a very unique sense of expression in his pieces. I'm excited to see what you come out with. I've been too busy to be very creative lately, but I still watch to keep inspired by others' creative genious, so I have some ideas to work from when I can get back to it. Thank you so much, Kjirsten ♥️♥️ ♥️It is not perfect but at least I have nook to film. Have been procrastinating and I need to get on a schedule. Sewing takes a lot of time to film and I think soldering is my niche any way at this point. I have so many ideas and I just get busy with other work and I am not filming. So silly! I have to do a schedule and stick to it. Thank you you really help me to stay motivated. You are so awesome! ♥️ I hope you will get to create soon too. I have been working on my Etsy so a lot of my time is spent there. They have updated the app and a lot of people complain that sails are down. Trying to revamp that. Bought some chandelier crystals and have been wanting to make a soldered pendant. But with all the work have not gotten to it yet. Ugh. Hopefully we will both get to do something fun soon!
