Ridge Raider, I'm over in East Tennessee on the Cumberland Plateau which is around 2500 ft. I have looked over and over in creeks. Even ones that flow by rock shelters. Ive never found anything in them. Not even flint. Just thought id share my experience with you. Guess ill have to stick with my over hang lol. Happy Hunting!
I have hunted a bunch of creeks myself . Found a few flakes and the only complete point I ever found in a creek was totally by accident . Went back many times to that creek and found nothing . Not bad hunt , better than I have been doing arrowhead hunting . Found a few fossils .
Im for sure a creeker and one can do pretty good here if they try hard enough, but if i find a good feild to walk i'll be just as greatful for sure!!Its complicated here trust me. People are unreal about thier woods and feilds here believe me.Nice finds if you ask me it doesnt matter what u find as long as u find something. GL to ya and HH!!!
NE Colorado, and the South Platte river valley is a really big producer for people walking the gravel bars and shallow wash up spots where the river deposits stuff on a bend in the channel. Some amazing Clovis points have been found in the stretch between Julesburg and Sterling, and the Chimney canyons area North of the Platte river valley.
I'm in Western NC. Find the bigger creeks at lower elevation that meander through flatter areas that could have sites. The course of the creek changes with floods, the banks cave in constantly and artifacts fall in the water and get caught on gravel bars as they wash downstream. I've spotted a couple of areas right along I-40 between Marion and Old Fort where a creek flows through some farm land and it looks great.
Definitely looks like a good site! We are lucky here in Missouri to have some incredible creeks to hunt in. Some are better than others but they all produce. Just found your channel. Keep em coming. Subbed from Missouri
You find a lot of stuff where there's brokes there's whole ones also from the videos I've seen of other people looking creeks in other States such as Alabama Mississippi Louisiana xcetera they look for Creeks with gravel bars your Creeks are different very Little Rock's at least you can look here where I live in Se NC the creeks are over grown as big as some river full of muck and cottonmouth snakes. If you keep looking I'm sure you'll find some it's just a little harder good luck
Good video! Over and out are never used together. Over means I am done talking and I am waiting for your reply. Out means I am done with the conversation and moving to a standby channel.
You're still doing better than we are lol. Good job Jeff. Keep it up.
Thanks Spike! I’ll keep my head down and keep digging

I’m in East Tennessee right close to the NC border. Pretty decent elevation here..not much going in creeks this way either. Good luck on your next.
Never have found anything in the water .
