Branzy is quickly becoming my favorite, his dedication, overconfident actions while remaining unconfident, and being generally not that great at the game compared to the others makes him incredibly chaotic and unpredictable. It ends up working in his favor.

two things about the torches below carpet: 1. they have a light range one less than a block when under carpet due to the origin of the light source. 2. You don't need to mine for them, I never do, I exclusively use charcoal from my tree farm
Bonus tip: you can trade with villagers for either glowstone dust to make glowstone blocks or for lanterns
One more thing, I don't know if yall have gravity block dupe prevention but you can dupe the egg like you would any other gravity block
