Hi, Shelley! I just discovered your channel last week and I have been watching as many of your amazing demos as I can! What a talented artist AND amazing and generous teacher you are! Thank you for all you do from Michoacán, México.
Looks like rosemary
Thoroughly enjoyed this lesson this morning. All the tips you share during the course of the lesson are great! I’ve got a couple requests. First, It would be terrific if you would complete the painting next week because I’d love to see how you’d tackle the silvery green of the Rosemary. And though I have both payne’s gray and neutral tint, I feel I don’t really know how to use them to best advantage…including when to use the one or the other. Thanks, Shelley for providing all these real time lessons!
I can definitely do that!
Hi Shelly, I've been enjoying discovering your long format tutorials. I had a pretty crummy week and so I've been painting lemons. This fits right into my project and lifts my spirits. Thanks so much. Portland Oregon.
Thank you Beth. Painting is always the best therapy :) Take care
Superb as always. I love your lessons. Thank you
I really appreciate that Lorraine. Thanks very much
Hi Shelly, so excited to find you here. I'm a neighbour from Burlington, ON :)
Welcome and howdy neighbour! 😊
Hello fellow Canadian. I just found your channel. Saw your work on American Watercolour and had to look you up. Now I’m enjoying browsing through your videos and looking forward to when I have some time to tackle some.
Awesome! Thank you!
I’m just starting a watercolor painting of a purple cabbage. There are green undertones washed with purple…this video was very helpful. Thank you.
Thanks Leila. I’m glad that you liked it 😊
Thank you for a very enjoyable lesson!
Thanks so much! 😊
Bonjour Shelley,
Is your masking fluid coloured when you buy it or can you colour the white one?
Hi Susan. You can buy it tinted but I prefer to buy white and tint it myself. I usually use Cobalt Blue for this but sometimes other non-staining colours. It depends on what I am painting.
Disappointed you didn't show painting the rosemary, just leaving the masking fluid.
I saved the rosemary for part 2 link is in the description 😊
