Nicely done getting those lights changed out - very successful despite a few hurdles to overcome. I won't comment on the mouse issue as a bunch of people have been focused on that.😀
I use a bucket and peanut butter on the roller with the bucket 1/2 filled with antifreeze so the mice don't smell . Install a small ramp to the side of pail . Trust me it works .
Nice light swap out and upgrade 👍 I know you'll think I'm crazy, but OC (pepper) spray will keep those little pests out of your equipment. Just don't plan on being in an enclosed cab for a day or 2 😊 Usually lasts for a month or so. Apply at the end of summer and again when the 1st heavy frost or snow fall.
As my mom would say when she had an infestation get a couple of barn cats and keep them down in that area make sure they have food water and a little bit of shelter and they will take care of your mouse problem
Hey Jake - keep making cool videos and I'll keep watching them. Hopefully the hawk will help with the mice. Okay those are bright - wow and If I were you I would add that 4th light to the back since you have it. Stay safe.
Get a bottle of peppermint oil (Amzn). They come with an eye dropper. It's pure oil, so it takes very very little. A few drops here and there. I use it in my garage, under the tractor hood, splitter, any where there is cover, plastic, or wiring they could chew on. Also, Mice don't like light. A small LED night light makes a difference, where ever you have power. Also the garden pest-be-gone type of spray products, in a pump up sprayer, spray the area.
Just get a piece of inch and a half flat bar drill two holes in it mount one hole through the old bracket and the other hole you can mount your new light extended out just a little bit
None of that stuff works. The only thing that works is outdoor cats. Put a cat door on the bottom panel of your garage door for winter unless you have an outbuilding where they can stay warm, or build a cat house, but a half dozen free cats fixed of course at a young age so they don’t procreate and spray everywhere, anyway 18 years on my property and not a single chewed wire or mouse dropping. Half their food is rodents the other half is cat food. My buddy that lives less than a mile away has tried everything that you have and has had his RV generator wires chewed, his f250 engine wires chewed, and the only cat he has is a CAT279D and it’s wires were chewed as well. Thousands of dollars. Outdoor Cats are a good investment and they are low maintenance. If one gets killed on the road, they’re free everywhere. Take some cat food and feed them at your equipment as well so that they know where they get fed and they will naturally go to that area and hunt.
This is the best advice Jake. The cats don’t need to live at your house. It’s better if they don’t. For the size of your woodyard you would probably want 3 or 4 cats. Feed some dry cat chow every couple of days. No more mouse problems!!
Moth balls is what I used when winterizing my RV with great success. Use the actual balls not packet. Scented or regular work equally well!
Bounce sheets work great and smells good 😊

Use several bait stations around the wood yard. Especially near equipment parking. 😊

Привет из 🇷🇺 России. Я думаю будет достаточно просто перевернуть фару в креплении, чтобы разъëм был выше, и закрепить его за самый край.
Might try some mothballs (or crushed naphthalene) in a nylon stocking for the mice?
Weld a piece.of metal on the bracket and mount the light on it
Very nice upgrade to your equipment lighting!
Nice lights!! It always takes longer for an easy job!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
We use dryer sheets in our camper !!!!
Rat pads nailed to a 2x4 from tractor supply 5.00 for two pads.
I’ve heard mice don’t like Pin Sol.
I use fabric softener sheets and steel wool…. No mice

100% can confirm!
You could try Baking soda in parmesan cheese in a little bowl they can't digest baking soda.

Where I come from we call that dog water…no good
Mouse Blocker Pros
The mouse repellent might not work in the cold and moth balls smell worse than mouse pee
