I actually had this video running while I did the procedure, a john deer mechanic down loaded it to a thumb drive off of his shop computer, he also loaned me all the tools needed but they are simple enough to improvise.
I have a 2.4 in a sullivan-palatek 185cfm compressor. It starts and runs fine but seems to be over-reving I put a tach on the flywheel and I'm getting 3450 rpm. How do I regulate that back to 2650 rpm? Thanks

Colby Patterson a mechanic at John Deere gave me it off of his company tech computer, I just had the video to fix mine...I hate that the cam gear is pressed with that bolt with out a key way
it is my grandsons tractor, that was 7 years ago, still running, seems to me i split the tractor to get the front assembly off, rad and stuff, i replace all the injectors, but what happened is the cam gear came loose, that gear is pressed on a taper, no keyway, crazy
@@CarlosGarcia-zq9ij 1er y gran error de todo el mundo... esas bombas no se pueden reparar. Se deben de cambiar por unas nuevas. No hay manera de reparar ni la bomba ni el inyector del JD4024 ó el JD5030
@@CarlosGarcia-zq9ij o suponiendo que ñas bombas esten buenas. No deben estar bien ubicadas en el punto que es. Puede estar erroneo el tiempo de inyeccion
@@DanielRodriguez-rf5eb gracias mi estimado, de hecho fijate que tal vez sea eso , ya que hasta hemos cambiado las bombitas y los inyectores de otro motor que esta en buenas condiciones y aun a si no jala, lo que hemos optado es cambiar de motor al 4045t power tech ojala y me pudiera ayudar mas usted por que e pensado en que si me llega a quedar un motor de estos 4042t he pensado en meterselo a un carro , pero no se si tenga que cambiar la relacion o algun ajuste en las bombas para que sea veihcularl

I might have found my issue. I pulled the aneroid off the block and found a broken off grease fitting in there! No idea where it would've come from, but I think it was holding the linkage up keeping it from getting full fuel on startup.

check the acceleration screws and adjust the stop until you reach the rpm you want...

yo tengo varios moteres de este tipo encienden muy bien , aceleran bien pero cuando le metes carga pierden potencia y se apagan.
Pues porque las bombas de inyeccion ya no tienen la presion requerida

Carlos García sounds like you might have a fuel filter problem or fuel pump, does it happen to just one or all your engines, if so might be the fuel
to all engines, in fact I have to replace them with the 4045t engine
