- "How much should I charge as a Virtual Assistant?"
I KNOW this is an oversimplified version, but it was super helpful to me and I hope it's helpful for someone else! If you have questions regarding your personal financial scenario and VA life, please let me know in the comments! I'll try to get to it.
The Formula:
1. Figure out how many hrs you want to work weekly
2. Multiply weekly hrs by 4 to get monthly hrs
3. Figure out what you want to get paid monthly (minimum)
4. Divide what you want to get paid by .70 (for 30% tax rate. If you only want to take out 25% for taxes, you'll divide by .75)
5. Divide the number you received in step #4 by the hrs you want to work monthly. This will give you an hourly rate!
Ya'll! I'm making a virtual assistant course! It's going to be a step-by-step affordable program to help you get started as a virtual assistant and be set up for success. Get notified when it launches: gmail.us21.list-manage.com/su...

Thank you for the video! As for your mention of a client willing to offer you $18/hour, I like what Abbey from TVS has said about this. When you call a plumber, you don't tell him how much you're going to give him per hour. That's just not how it works in the real world. If a client tells me how much they will pay me hourly, we are not a match.
Thank you! very clear and important info!!
Great advice!
This is great info! I'm watching all your videos. Quick question. I have developed phone anxiety lol. Have you found that it's necessary to do a discovery call with a client before taking them on?
100% it is! It'll help you further understand their needs and wants. Unless you knew them previously, I'd say it's a necessity.
What is your V.A. website? I'd like to check out your services and specialty skills. I can't seen to find it in your description or about section.
