We have a rule in our house that you can’t go downstairs/ out without taking something with you. Trash, recycling, green waste, etc. It really helps in keeping us on the winning side of it over running the place! It’s now part of my routine and it works!
Yes!!! We have this rule too!! It’s super helpful. Even if the big trash isn’t full, the bathroom trash probably is or there’s an empty box from my seltzers or… anything! Super duper helpful to prevent build up

For gently used items see if there is a local church or non-profit (battered women’s shelter or veteran services etc.) that will pick up the items for you. Where I live they do it for free so you get rid of your stuff while helping others in need 😊

About the shoes off/shoes on thing: you should get yourself some nice house slippers. I for one wear fluffy uggs in the house. That way you have the best of both. No outside dirt in the house, but still have your feet protected and warm
Your painting - and the continued painters tape (!!!) - has inspired me to finally paint the other 2/3 of my apartment. I did 1/3 of it about 4 years ago and.....well, never finished. Oi! But I have done half of my kitchen, and left my painters tape up too (for the second coat). So, thank you - not only are you entertaining the masses, you are inspiring us to do our own home deco too!
Beverages (plural for me) of choice for my mornings. I have a cup of warm lemon water followed by a cup of my "green smoothie" (similar to AG1 however I also add in Kefir and fruit). Then I have my tea which can be anything because I have a HUGE collection of teas (as I'm a tea lover).

your sleepy coffee talk is what makes me feel like we are together. it's my favorite part of family visiting, the sleepy coffee talk. please keep it in! my morning beverage is a press pot of coffee, about two cups of coffee and i sit by a candle and read and my dogs know to leave me alone until i'm distracted and somehow they end up in my lap. :)

I moved out a few weeks ago and it's so comfortable to see that it takes time to completely furnish an apartment. In other videos, the apartments are always immediately finished and perfect. I love watching you progress slowly and not everything has to be perfect right away.
Balsam for is an evergreen tree and my fav smelling of that family of smells. It's like pine....but sweet. So nature-y without the bugs! 😊 I have a suggestion for you. Now you sold your dw you might be able to move your mic to the far left on your main counter out of the way. Get it off the top of the fridge for easier reach to a better\safer plug! Coffeemaker can share that plug but they both produce heat so don't use at the same time. PS on your inspiration (and thanks to a black Friday sale and my birthday) I bought an apartment size washing machine, I am so happy with it. Mine is different\smaller than yours but fully automatic and perfect. And like yours, mine runs off the kitchen sink. No more sink laundry. Amen!

I feel ya! I was also raised in a household where shoes were worn indoors… until we took them off eventually and just walked around barefoot! 😂 I don’t know if it’s because we were poor and working class, but it didn’t seem to be such a big deal back then. We didn’t have carpet or rugs, though, so that helped.

About the shoes, I have to wear shoes (also prone to plantar fasciitis and not raised in a shoeless house), but the city is gross (I’m in midtown) so I bought a pair of shoes only for indoors. It works great! And, about the furniture that doesn’t sell, I recommend putting them on Craig’s list for free. Free stuff always goes, and you’re not filling the landfill. Love your channel! You’re adorable!😊

Where I live, people put things they want to get rid of outside and someone always takes it. One man's trash, another man's treasure. I put two washers and two dryers out, didn't even have the last machine out and someone was already taking them.

I live alone and have one of those dishwashers (well not that exact model?!) made such a great improvement for me in terms of eating healthy… I’ve had it for years and love it. I bought pans with detachable handles! 😂 I have it further from sink as I can pour the water in through the hole above. Loving the videos. Have a super Christmas 🎄

I wear shoes in the house because I have flat feet which hurt after walking barefoot for any length of time, and I have also struggled with plantar fasciitis too--that really sucks! The one concession I've made is that I try to keep one pair specifically for inside and change into those when I come inside. But honestly...like George Carlin said, you gotta give your immune system something to practice on! And he was talking about New York! "We swam in raw sewage!" That's right George!
Good on you @ChelseaCallahan for keeping up with the cleaning an de-cluttering. I am working though a massive workload getting to the end of the year and I watch Vlogmas between meetings because you motivate me to keep going when it feels like the end is no where near. Just like the boxes you continue to recycle

I would recommend squid game challange. People think they know the game but oh boy are they wrong . Loving these vlogs so cosy. I watch them with a cuo of coffee in the morning feels like two pals having a catch up 😊.
Chelsea, use disinfectant wipes on the soles of a pair of shoes that you are not going to be wearing outside. Go over them thoroughly and hopefully this will remove the outside germs (at least some of them). Of course you should not wear the clean pair outside of the apartment. This should help some and it is surely better than wearing the pair that has touched the nasty sidewalks.
