Britton Kithcart you realized he got that nickname before Dale came along? We are talking about eras here. Petty started when they raced more than once a week, different sized cars, engines, one of first with major sponsor, etc etc....not taking nothing away from him.....but the modern era belonged to Dale.
Britton Kithcart that's where people will disagree with you.....with nascar mandating engines and car wheelbases etc, the competition was way tougher when Dale won his 7.
Petty sucks, at Talladega in 92 the whole field would come roaring by with Earnhardt in lead...then ole Petty would come puttin by on life support...pitiful.
I looked at the line and Earnhardt obviously on the inside won clearly. Looking at Rudd and Gant, Gant edged Rudd because he was side-drafting Ricky. Low lane had the winner, middle lane second, and Rudd finished 3rd in the high lane or "Richard Petty" groove.
If only they did this in cup cars just watch the 33 of Gant and the 5 of Rudds just side by side comming to the checkerd flag then out of nowhere the Man in Black, The Black 3 of Earnhardt comes in and steals the win
He was the greatest, plain and simple.
No question. He will always be the best. Jimmie Johnson doesn't have shit on Dale.
.....lol. How so?

What a fabulous move by Dale Earnhardt on the last lap.
What a move
this is the envy of every driver past and present, no one will ever be as good as Dale Earnhart, he is the GOAT....
Well said.
"They're nose to nose as they head for the tri-oval and the checkered flag!" That's got to be one of my favourite calls of all time.
I like how the show both their struggles and triumphs in the intro.
Masterful Driving 🚗

The intimidator. 🥺💔

5:27 I didn’t know Eli Manning was a NASCAR announcer!
The GOAT
Hell of a move
THE master of the draft. Rip 🙏
The only time that I can recall where there was a dead heat in a race.

3 wide to the finish
Harry Gant was definitely 2nd. A damned good racer.
Harry Gant one of the many drivers that shouldve won a championship
I saw Harry Gant at scotties in Taylorsville the other day
8:35 race start
Arie was the first CART driver to defect to the IRL
