BTS Maestro. Thanks for taking us on a tour of the TT stage. Been following some other YT coverage, happy to see the enthusiastic support. Be well Ray...
This whole visit behind the scenes, with the special buses, the escort vehicles and the technician's trucks, is fascinating and intriguing. keep going!
I use a Rollr as my primary training coming off a Neo OG and I would never go back. Easy to swap between my TT/Road bikes plus its much easier to stay on the ski's when doing TT training.
@@Dcrainmaker I have wahoo pedals on the TCR and. Infocranks on the TT so ggod there. There was a update recently that was meant to do power but never use it
@@jamesjordan3382 Gotchya, yeah, for your case you're all good. On the update recently, I thought the same as well till I dug into it. Turns out there was no update, they just added a blanket old-school style power curve for a few apps (which have always been horrifically bad).
my lord there is a lot of stuff happening around a competition like this.. they check the angle of the seat?! jesus.. interresting though.. and 22 kilometers in half an hour? i used 4 hours on 40 kilometers.. on my vacation testride this summer.. but i pulled a 40+ kg wagon with a tent and food and stuff within it..

That yellow Tacx trainer, though... That would look nice at home. :)
I like this "behind the scenes" content, nice to see some of what goes into organizing and managing all the riders etc. for such a big event.
Indeed, the logistics are pretty crazy!
One of my favorite GCN segments was when they rode with the Shimano neutral service car. I really wish we got more of this type of thing.

Wow Ray, great behind the scenes! What a load of information, excellent! You always get all the details❤
Thanks!
Bloody great content @DC Rainmaker. Love your work sir!
Thanks, really appreciate it!
Interesting to see the behind the scenes content. No one else really does that.
Much appreciated, I've always enjoyed behind the scenes stuff - so it's neat when I get to make it!
Thank you! Great videos, love the background on the teams and gear.
13:50 It was the French Prime Minister - Mme Borde
Yup indeed!
I like the idea of the fruit stand. It's a great way of projecting the message of the sponsor's brand
I really enjoy the detailed coverage, always great DCR!
Thanks!
Really interesting. Thanks for putting that together.
Always eager for your new content Ray!!! This year’s Tour de France was great!! 😊
Much appreciated!
Love These Videos. Thank you for making them 👏
Thanks!
That old car was pretty cool! And their sponsors look excited about it too with Orbea pulling out an old script logo instead of their current logo
Indeed, serious double-take when it came in with the legit spare TT bikes atop.
Really interesting tour of the start area!
Thaks for this interesting video and greetings from Finland!
Very interesting , thx for covering. Nice Disruption 💪
Great content. Thank you for the insights.
Thanks!
4:12 It's also why Direct Drive trainers need a "clutch" where you can 'disconnect' the electromagnet for gear indexing.
so glad this exists now, time to move to europe sometime in the future
Great stuff Ray❣️
Great content!

Yeah, definitely easier to swap. But downside is it requires a power meter, since it doesn't have any internal power sensor/metering capabilities.

Great video
at 13:49 I'm pretty sure that was the prime minister of France
Yup, definitely, good catch!
Hi. This is an excellent insight into this sport. What camera are you using in this video?
Thank you
@Dcrainmaker what watch are you using in this video and day to day? Is it the Epix Pro (Gen 2) 47 mm? :D
Epix Pro 47mm and Apple Watch Ultra.
@@Dcrainmaker Thank you!

Where I see opportunity, I jump!
I love Tour BTS.
Wish you had the microphone on the Moto.

👍
11:56 did I see correctly that fancy barriers by Garmin were replaced by Wahoo ones
Indeed, there were Garmin Fancy fences, but I caught that Wahoo Fancy Fence as well!
Love seeing the ladies of pro cycling...all nice and slim.
First
No masks for women's tour?
No washing machine news??? This is disgraceful. I'm unsubscribing! (Edit: thank God, washing machine news is at 1:46 thanks @Dcrainmaker 😊)
There is!
@@Dcrainmaker eek! I must've missed it! Phew!
