Agreed, at least with racing games they have the courtesy of just reversing the track. Here, we get boxes called levels reorganized.
I’m so happy they made a lot of good changes however the chaos level thing has got me a little frustrated I’ve spent so much time in the chaos chamber I barely even remember what the rest of the world looks like

Don't know why the raised the Chaos Chambers to 50. 35 was already too high.
They made it higher because some ___holes think it's their mission in life to break the game as fast as possible then demand that it be more challenging.
I think it’s a result of the in game mail system. UA-camrs don’t need to grind their own drops, so they make the game look easy, so the devs make the game harder. Meanwhile normal people need to spend every bit of free time grinding to scrape by in C35 let alone C50. Such a joke.
All the other BL games always have their levels raised every so often so this is nothing new. It'll definitely be raised higher than 50 before they finish with this game and go on to Wonderlands 2.
@@melodyseverything6999 Those raises were to the level cap not the endgame system. And they gave more skill points. This game is too punishing to grind with no dedicated drops. It's really punishing to console players.

What’s the point of adding chaos levels if the guns don’t scale with chaos level like they did with mayhem mode
I don't feel the guns are as important as the gear you wear that boosts skills, etc. Focus on that instead.

From what I've seen the stat scaling is drastically different in wonderlands compared to borderlands 3 i do think though we should've gotten a level cap increase by at least 10 levels that way they gear is improved and you'd feel that "power creep" so to say
I feel like they've tried to make the chaos levels a somewhat fundamentally different difficulty system to what they've done in the past. Normally the "true" way to play endgame was at max difficulty (OP 10, Mayhem 3, 4 ,10, etc), but at this point chaos 50 is so absurd I feel like they're trying to make it less of the "true" way to play the game, and more a difficulty slider for where your build has a nice balance between clear speed and drop quality. Almost like how D3 did with their greater rift levels
At least with d3 the gear is perfectly balanced to the game difficulty
Does anyone know of a good site or wiki that descibes the effects of each unique weapon? Maybe its just me but it was easier to find out this info easier on the previous BL games.

This is depressing. Looks like Gearbox has forgotten why people loved the DLCs in borderlands 2 and 3. Borderlands 3 gave us free events like the revenge of the cartels, bloody harvest and broken hearts day. All they want to give us is more chaos chamber. Which after a handful of runs for most players gets really boring. We need more story content not another chaos increase. I can't justify playing Wonderlands or buying DLC until/if that actually happens.
I’m currently hunting down the loot dice thanks to your videos. It’s such a tedious side task for better drops. I hope they never do this again in the future. It kinda reminds me of hunting the riddler trophies in the arkham games
If you pick them up while you do the story and side quests it's literally not a problem.

kinda disappointed that we get another familiar class. Would've been great to see a class based around explosions and buffing your team. could be Torgues class as a "Bard-Barian". Theres not really a class that cares about launchers nor is there one that buffs your allies.
That's what I wanted more than anything in this game was a support character similar to Maya with insta-rez and healing or Athena tanking damage for her team with Aspis. I was so hopeful we'd get a return to support classes with Wonderlands and it seems like it's probably never going to happen.

That’s a bug level 43 gear use to drop but was patched out or should have been. Also the purpose of level 40 being the cap is to stay loyal to the DnD theme. Where 40 was the cap, don’t think they’ll ever increase the level cap.
Increasing the level cap would be the worst decision they could make for this game. It would destroy build diversity.

@@K_End No it's the opposite. The more skill points you have, the more homogenized builds become.
With less skill points, you as the player have to make more difficult choices as to where to spend your points. That creates build diversity, because different people make different choices. If everyone can have everything, then there are no choices to be made anymore, so you lose diversity.
@@DaShikuXI yep that’s exactly what happened with the level 80 cap in BL2. You could basically run all the builds with the amount of points they gave us.

It's steam, just buy it and play for two hours. If you don't feel you got your money's worth just ask for a refund.
Why tf would it be 50% off on day one? It hasn't been discounted by 50% even on epic yet. 20% seems fair for the first day, and the base game is definitely worth it, DLC is objective, they're too short and have low replay value, but they add some gear to the game, I mainly like them for that.

Anyways I had over 600 hrs in bl2 and 3, I can see myself spending similar time on this. Cause I love to explore, fantasy, guns, spells, doing all quests and doing multiple playthroughs.

@@benprins8240 BL3 released on steam 6 months after epic, so maybe that's why. It's only been 3 months for TTW.
TTW is definitely a smaller game then BL2 and 3, but it's has it's own charm and the side quests are really good in this one. Sounds like this game will be a good fit for you as well. Enjoy :)

This is how you do it man small nerfs/fixes but A LOT of buffs to follow/cancel them out. This is great!
Why keep running up the chaos levels they need to drop a new actual level cap so casual players can have more fun and work through lower chaos levels quicker and a new level cap would add more room for way better builds than we have now
The dlc is okay but there still isnt decent enough content yet.
Is this a new thing that when we die during a mirror run , we have to restart the entire run ? i died during boss , had to restart the entire mirror, again and again . If this the case i think i will uninstall the game .
Nah it's been around since the start, I noticed in DLC 2 when trying to reach the boss with my melee build, its pain 😅
One thing I'll note here is you get far more of the dlc crystal things from mobs than you do the bosses, plus the boss drop rates themselves are abysmal. Tbh if you die at the boss, you're hardly losing anything when it comes to the gear game
That being said, the system they have is overly painful. They already have the harder difficulties and death limits in the chaos chamber, they could be a little more lenient on the bosses (and actually make them rewarding)
@@QuantumLimp I don't understand why they dont actually put something to respawn inside the mirror. Maliwan takedown in Borderlands 3 had actually 1 or 2 respawn. They should at least put one . That's just so stupid. And even with that , most of the gear you can aquire is just bad :/ . If something is difficult , we should be rewarded for that , but we are not . Everything is against logic . Raid Bosses ? Bad rewards. Mirrors ? Bad rewards . Chaos Chambers ? Rewards are ok tier but ultra boring .
@@mugen9664 yeah I feel you. Having at least one respawn point would be reasonable. As someone doing dots/ melee I'm actually pretty surprised by the amount of decent gear options in the dlc but besides those weapons and the soaked mechanic it seems pretty empty of solid gear, yeah
Blows my mind how off the mark Gearbox is with their DLCs in this game. They've basically got zero limitations for some insane story-based DLC, and instead all they want to do is keep adding on to the single endgame mode, which nobody even likes. Besides that, these add-ons cost multiple times what they should
Even for Gearbox, being this out of touch with the community is really just shocking
Sick of stupid ass chaos levels, lete just set to max. Not grinding 10s of hours just to get to the difficulty to start grinding for gear. Been a huge fanboy since BL1, sorely disappointed in chaos levela
Yo this game... Chaos 50... That just makes me mad... Got to chaos 10 and was like im done... This is not an endgame I dont care how fun it is at first... Didnt even try the "Raid Bosses." Im back to BL1 and BL2... Seriously sad that BL3 and this game lost literally everything that made a borderlands game. Not stoked for BORDERLANDS 4. Guarantee they come up with some lame story again to bring in awesome back logged characters only to ruin them to add the cherry on top that no one wants...
Borderlands 3 is hella good gameplay wise what do you mean? It was only the story that sucked. BL3 also did endgame better (no digistruct peak/OP Levels), More Build diversity, more op weapon options (so much so people even complained it made the game too easy), and overall more activities for endgame with the Takedowns, toggable Events, Trials/True Trials, And repeatable Circle Of Slaughters. UVHM in BL2 made you rely on Slag too much and OP Levels just made things too bullet spongy making things like Rabid Skags and Rabid Stalkers for example feel like mini bosses.
Also to note unlike BL2 where you had to grind Peak to earn OP levels literally in BL3 you can just skip to Mayhem 11 with the slider, tip Moxxi for a Crit or Hail (which were both buffed to be very good) and you’d get them scaled to the Mayhem Level you were at, from there you could just grind any of the meta gear using those two guns. Very easy to cheese endgame, BL2 you couldn’t even hope to access OP 10 gear without doing Peak. I’d argue BL3 felt closer to a Borderlands game than BL2 ever did due to the abundance of op items the player could get. BL3 and BL1 have that feel the most imo. BL4 would just need to keep what BL3 did with gameplay and endgame and then just hire better writers.
@@CentauriTT But thats my point man. Legendaries felt legendary in 1 and 2. Three had way too many legendaries and most of them didnt get used (looking at you maleks bane and most world drops...) Op levels were optional and didnt make you do them for loot. It was you proving to your self your limits and taking your "OP" build" to try it out on "harder" and more "difficult" activities. These "endgame" activites are completely missing the point. I slightly agree that Mayhem was ok but still fell very short. Not to mention the now lack of dedicated drops. Its just not the same team anymore with the same passion. I could be very wrong and they are just making mistakes but man. 50 f'ing chaos levels???? Like what the f@#$. Bring back Trials and make them into what they originally wanted to do with them... Wonderlands does not feel like a borderlands game IMO. Not saying your opinions are invalid, thats just how i feel a borderlands game should feel and play... Oh and cheese.... I hate cheesing.... Just means bad decisions were made...

None of em felt impactful from my testing, Spellshot is still op for example. Though Claw imo needs more huge buffs so it can stop being at the bottom.
This game lost me when endgame became boring as hell and PLC was a money grab with no real content!!!
