Conrad is still splattered all over Center City Charlotte from the closer in '00 ( I think) When I saw the Front Man for Train behind DAS Zone on stage pumping his fist a wave a gratitude washed over me. Just knowing that he had gotten a dose of the little ol band from Athens Ga. It seemed like an invasion was upon security when Panic fans were. Making their way into the area. Train played before WSP. The Soccer Moms and Top 40 crowd were the major demographic in the stage area. The sheer terror on the faces of security when the Late 90's fans were rolling in. Long hair, dreds, aroma had shifted from Banana Republic Perfume to Premium strands of Dank Kind. I approached a security guy and assured him absolutely zero trouble would arise. Me being clean cut with short hair. We all know because of that I was not looked at and profiled to be in possession of " contraband". So an approach to security was not met with apprehension. Any way.....sorry for the trip down Memory Lane. Maybe it will ring up a memory or 2 for some of you.
I don't know why but this sound for some reason isn't right. It's like they are flat. Dead. Tired. Forcing it. It sucked. They aren't even in sync they aren't q'ing the other members to drop. Wow. Unbelievable. Sorry Milwaukee.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinions but as a musician you couldn't be more wrong, they are tight the sound is SBD so not sure what you are talking about. Milwaukee shows are incredible to say the least wsmfp loves to play at the riverside. Some of the best wsmfp shows were at the riverside. If you never been do yourself a favor and do the Sunday riverside.
