Hi Sophie, I recently bought a parrot safe tea for my conure! Just wondering how I prepare it do I leave the tea in the cup or strain it? Hot/cold I'm a bit clueless 😂 also how often should I offer it? Xx
Personally I cold brew it in the fridge overnight! You can strain it and add the wet flowers to their chop or you can leave some of the bits in for them to pick at as they drink 😊
What is your take on Dr. Creans Dream mix ? There's a large bird mix and a small bird mix. My birds really love the dream mix. I am interested in Pollys mix. It looks so good and the variety is amazing !!!! I was looking at Pollys parrot boutique..do you know if this available in the U.S. ?

please can someone help me! I bought a cockatiel when i was 8 and he was young. I loved him and we had a very nice bond, he was happy and i think my young brain eventually got over the joy of a new pet. I forgot about him, never went near him, ignored him and didn't care about him. (please don't shade me for this, i feel really terrible and realise that is extremely wrong.) Now, he is around 3-4 and is very aggressive. When you put your hand in or even near his cage, he hisses and gets extremely angry and clearly stressed. I obviously need to change his food and water, but he hates any human near him. I have tried everything - sitting near his cage, giving him treats and nothing works. He just doesn't like humans anymore. He doesn't even want to come out his cage when its open.. can anyone please help? I really want my bird back. Anything is appreciated!!
Ooo i really want to change my birds unhealthy seeds to the fine cuisine seed mix! I have been waiting for it to get available in the netherlands but the only webshop that sells polly's products sadly still doesnt have them so im scared they won't come to the netherlands at all
Great recommendation! I really would like to give our birds more variety in foraging. It was also nice seeing how curiously all your birds tried everything!
I've read that sesame seeds can cause an allergic reaction. They are in the Polly's mix. I don't know if I want to feed them to my green cheek. What do you think about sesame seeds?
My cockatiels used to be the same after watching Sophie videos on how to get your bird to eat vegetables they now love them. I trick that worked for me was I grated Broccoli over their seed and then I hanged vegetables in their cage.
Many birds will at first reject fresh foods if they’re used to a seed-only diet. Sophie has some great videos on how to introduce veggies to the diet. It takes patience but will eventually work as it’s what their body is designed to eat! Good luck :)
It's so lovely seeing your babies sampling all the goodies! It would be great to see more amazing products like these available in Australia, I know my birds would love them 😊

It’s a great alternative for people who want to buy a pre blended mix, or if you want to add even more diversity to the diet 😊
