I literally couldn't help but cry when I saw this, Jeff has been my favorite for as long as I can remember. Watching him as a kid and watching him now, there is no one that I would rather cheer on than the man driving the number 24 car. NASCAR means a lot to me because it's one of the rare sports where your career can go on as long as you want it to, it's not wrestling where everything's fake, it's not football where only two teams have a shot at the Vince Lombardy Trophy, NASCAR is as real as it looks and it doesn't matter if you haven't won a race all year, everyone participates in every race. Jeff Gordon has been a huge inspiration for me, fans, new racers, everyone. Not just as a racer, but as a Philanthropist, Actor, and Father. And even though this may be his final season driving the 24, he will continue to inspire me in the years to come. Thank you Jeff Gordon and all that you've done.
TheFireFox121 Im sure he will be a great racer, they all are. But the only upside to him to driving the 24 car I that while jeff is retired, his car hasn't, I can see Chase having a bright future in nascar
That rave was special for me 1. I got to go to my first nascar race 2. It was also my birthday (February 22) 3. I got to meet his pit crew members and they said that they would tell Jeff about me (I was also at the homestead race in November. I didn't get to see his first race but I got to see his last official one)
Man watching this got me so pumped for the season. Then the season actually started...sad to see him chasing everyone else down mid-pack rather than the other way around.
Jeff Gordon is One of the Best NASCAR drivers of all time. 92 Wins 4 Championships 3 Daytona 500 wins The best way Jeff Gordon can drive off into the sunset is by winning his 5 and final championship,
Since I was 4 I've been a fan of Gordon, I remember seeing a rainbow car on the track saying to my mom. '' I found my driver. '' it was Jeff Gordon now at the age of 22 well almost I am still a fan, this season for him might not be the best but he's a 4 time champ, broke records and even have found his team mate who I've found to try to not to hate ha. no one will ever be like Jeff he's one of a kind he's truly the face of Nascar. Chase is going to have a mega rock on his shoulder next season and better keep the 24 up on top even if he's going to have his own paint scheme he's got big shoes to fill, hopefully we'll see the rainbow warrior again in one of the last 10 races in the chase or when Ella or Leo decide to follow the Gordon name and live on the legacy of the Gordon name, I admit I cried while watching this. they must of had to pay Brad and Clint to sign that ha. :) I might cry while watching jeff come across his last checker flag at homestead hopefully he's in first place, enjoy your retirement Jeff you deserve it man and always will be my favorite. I'll go where ever the 24 goes.
I think Jeff is the best driver of all time, cause of how competitive the sport is right now. Also without the chase Jeff would be a 7-time champ (2004, 2007, 2014)
HerRoyalLolliness Wow that's awesome you are a fan all the way from over there. Do you mind if I ask how you got into the sport? Also, I believe NASCAR chanel now posts the full races on UA-cam, as well as other members of UA-cam.
Jeff should become sole owner HMS...why..because HE sacrificed so much more he could have achieved by giving cars/people/resources to the 48. Its just who he is. All about TEAM first.
Jeff was the driver that got me into NASCAR! I'm proud to be a 24 supporter! What he's achieved is nothing short of remarkable! Thank you Jeff! Now I'm having a really hard time thinking who to cheer for when he's gone!
Wat I think of Jeff he was great driver and he was very good at every thing no matter what you think about him and he didn't care if you call him a sissy or something else but he knows wat that some one that loves him the most and that's is God, because God is ❤️ 2 all of us and always 🙏 🤲 🕍
I'm not a Jeff Gordon fan, but I'm going to miss seeing him on the track and 2016 won't be the same without him. Wish him a happy retirement and best of luck to him at Homestead. I'm a Dale Jr fan and a Chase Elliott fan. I'm very excited to see Chase Elliott in the #24 and wins on the races where Jeff Gordon does his broadcasts. That would make Jeff very proud. Happy retirement Jeff Gordon and good luck for your fight for your 5th title and can't wait to see you in the #24 Chase Elliott.
I remember when I was a kid I would go over to my grandparents' house and always play with the 24 car, and that was how I got into NASCAR. Ever since then, Jeff's always been my favorite driver. I loved his paint schemes, from the original Rainbow Warrior to the flaming DuPont. It sucked having to hear that he was retiring after this season, but I know that he had a good career.
ChubNTuck i remember going to texas 2001 when his car came out i screamed my head off the guy next to my mom was like "is he a Jeff Gordon fan" my mom was like he loves Jeff Gordon" the guy tells me "you made a good choice"

Bastian Mann well yeah obviously a talent scout. He went up to Hendrick and was like "you need to pick this guy up" and now that guy he was talking about has won 6 championships for the organization... him and Jimmie are easily the top 2 guys in NASCAR's modern era
@@rcracer8872 And you'll never change the fact that Gordon OWNED Earnhardt. He finished ahead of him nearly 80% of the time they raced against each other 😂😂😂
This video, especially when everyone sign your windshield makes me cry, this guy makes me following nascar, and still loving nascar despite nascar wasn't as famous as f1 or moto gp here.*i am indonesian
I wasn't a big Jeff fan but the night he put the flag out of his window the night he tied Dale Earnhardt Sr and he told he had a good times with Earnhardt Sr.
nascarcrashesnmore I think the Keselowski stuff blew over pretty quickly, it was a racing incident (still a dumb move on Brad K's part imo) but the fight was heat of the moment and I think they're over it by now. You have to at least make up some sort of respect for the driver or you're destined to spend a lot of money and time wrecking eachother. As far as Clint goes I read an article that says that he respects Gordon but their feud still lingers. He's cordial with Jeff and wants to rebuild their friendship after the end of Jeff's final season.

Seeing this in 2018, still brings tears to my eyes
I bet if Dale Earnhardt were alive he would have signed that windshield too.
I bet he would've retired already
Dale Sr. would have been first in line. Probably would have bumped a few people out of the way and said "Welcome to retirement, Wonder Boy!"
Yes
Oh yeah. They made each other a lot of money.
