You gotta have an attorney look over contracts, I know it is a tough thing to ask younger people to do but it is so important. I remember watching Richard Lewis talk about some csgo contracts for major organizations that were horrendous. Also it always helps to have platform before and after pro gaming. I heard Hal say that if reps didn't stream he wouldn't have gotten added to TSM's roster. It doesn't always work that way but it helps! Two of my brothers knew the coach and aplayer from Sola Fide but I don't think anyone really saw that coming!
Competing in apex during the early seasons was “hmm” for short. If you made ALGS finals you’d get some really wild “org” offers - contracts that kept you in an “org” for 6-12 months for 50-500$ a month + buyout + other dumb contractual obligations. When you’d turn some of these down, the owners or the reps would get wildly toxic too.
@@FlyCreez I doubt these are still active, but Inception and LOVE take the cake among aqualix and others. Many of these “orgs” were no names with a foot in other titles
Inception really stood out to me, as the owner (spectypoo and other variations of the name) was beyond toxic and unprofessional. Later it was found out he was a pedo and was scamming his organization and pocketing sponsorship money and selling the free product he was supposed to supply his players for profit. He did this with gfuel tubs among other things

This sounds like a mesh of the climb and fall of the music industry. The gamers(artists) want notoriety. The companies(studios) want to make money as fast as possible. The only similarities that I see is a lack of experience. It looks like everyone came out of their parent's basement at the same time and said. "Let's Go Make Some Money!!!" The sad part is no one had a plan or did their due diligence.
Reading a contract is very important and can decide what happens in the future. Always look because companies will try to hide stuff in them and especially when it's a big company. It's better to check than find out later they messed with you're contact
Finally a yellow pfp in my sub box :D What a great reseached video mate! A ton of interesting information, and i hope we’ll hear from you soon again :)
Kauzey, I hope you will oneday be able to sustain yourself an dlive a nice relaxing life making youtube videos. I'd feel so happy for you dude, to know you made it out of a 7 to 7 grind.

They're getting paid to play video games. Giving up around 15 percent. Everyone needs to get paid. Maybe Don't sign your life away to a stupid contract in the first place.
Apex was so good back then, they ruined every single map there is no more verticle battles, or multiple story buildings, instead of fixing there game and making it better that add useless new legends and guns no one cares about, they ruined OG skull town and OG worlds edge, the game has gotten so bad I am convinced there is a developer secretly trying to ruin the game, every single good map spot has been ruined.
What is that stock footage of the family with two small kids watching Apex competitive?? 😆It's like, "Hey kids! Let's watch this video game together in the living room on movie night!" haha
The sad part is this happened with Noble's Rocket League team aswell. For starters, the owner had been paying their salary through paypal which wasn't a great thing to be doing for a professional organization. The org also passed off ownership to a new person who didn't know what they were doing and all of the payments that were promised never came. Combine that with internal issues behind the management and clash of ideas between owner and managers and you have a recipe for disaster. I don't know a lot about Apex to be honest, but I'd say Noble probably pulled the same thing with their Apex team, and "paid them" through paypal, as supposed to a w9 form like many others do.
Kauzey do u think u could make a video on the prices and issues with apex just so everyone understands what's going on because I'm really interested to hear your take on the lack of content for this season and the disconnect that respawn has been having with its player base as of late
if you read about noble esports its actually not the guys fault the banks shut him down, if you dont have your company set up right and you send large sums of money to people as a new entity through international banks they will flag transactions to certain countries etc etc and you have to essentially show them that you arent funding terrorism lol its international banking laws. also that would explain why he would have to work with banks offline. i dont think the owner of noble did anything wrong, i just think he was unprepared on how to work an international organization
