April 2022. With Cobb's Green Speed Update this product can no longer but utilized with the Accessport. However if you are using alternative tuning software it can work to data log the wideband input.
Kinda confused with what you commented. Would I still be okay if I install a gage to read the data even if I have an accessport or will it just not really work at all.
@@AntonioandJorgemerlos If you are at looking at a plug-and-play unit with a gauge that could also send information to the Cobb AP, take a look at this item. iwireusa.com/collections/iwire-plug-and-play-harnesses/products/aem-wideband-x-line-series-with-gauge-with-iwire-pnp This product will not work very well with the Cobb AP through the rear 02 because you'll get a check engine light since the OEM rear 02 is not connected, and the AP can't remove that code.
Okay thanks so would it still be worth even buying it if it’ll just do that. If all I have as my tuning software is the AP but either get a dyno or a pro etune will it still show the Check engine light ?
So basically you are just plugging into the existing rear 02 sensor harness? Sorry if it's a stupid question, I just want to be clear before I bought it. Thanks alot.
If all you need to do is log the raw wideband voltage this would work just fine with a Tactrix cable. With the Cobb "Green Speed" update the ability to bring outside information is not currently possible. If you are able to get around the "Green Speed" update then yes this would work with a Cobb AP.
@@iwiresubaruwiringsolutions5538 OpenSource will probably be the route I go for the tune, and I'll use the AP to watch the metrics. It's essentially useless beyond that any more.
@@RAWProductions904 The AP will not be able to display that information because the feature to convert the raw voltage from the input coming into the rear 02 to display AFR is now disabled from Cobb. yes, it would. We have a 02-05 WRX plug and play option for our Wideband Kit that works great with your car for data logging, but the display on the Cobb AP will be the raw voltage (0-5v) not the AF ratio number like 14
Only video I've seen on this controller so far. Awesome tutorial! Do you like this setup better than the gauge? I currently have the 30-0300 x gauge running on the left exhaust bank and its a pain in the ass swapping between banks. Was hoping this would hook up to hp tuners and be the solution I'm looking for..
Glad to hear it! For our Subaru powered applications it's great because the Cobb Accessport functions as the gauge display and separate physical gauge is not required. What are you trying to install this in?

@@zackthomas5707 Ah, this is Subaru specific and would not apply to your 2014 Silverado. You can utilize this to log directly into your ECU setup, but the hook up for your application would be different.

Hi, I about to order this kit to install on my Subaru. I have the Cobb flex fuel kit on my car. How do you hook that up when using the rear O2 bung for the wideband? Can I hook it up between the two harnesses on the transmission? Just want to confirm before purchasing.
Unfortunately, it will not work with the Cobb update. The reason is that the Cobb update eliminated the ability to bring in outside information to the ECU. This kit would still work with other tuning options.
@@Kanadian-Squirrel If you could find someone to reflash the ECU so it can understand the change in rear 02 input and display AFR without updating to the newer Green Speed compliant software, then yes, it would work.

There is a standard calibration for this gauge that comes in the instruction booklet and your tuner should be able to set up remotely.
