I was so upset when Rolf Harris was outed. I had loved his programmes when I was growing up and his silly little songs made me laugh when I was little, like Jake the peg . My childhood was rough but seeing him painting upside down etc made me smile. I'm gutted he was like that.
John Barrowmans accent is all over the place. Has he started using his natural Scottish accent now?
Michael Barrymore. A glaring omission.
I honestly don’t get why so many people turned against Barrowman. Yeah, it’s something he wouldn’t be able to get away with today but Noel Clarke even admitted that he did it to try and lighten the mood (even though he obviously said it so people would forget about what he did and start targeting Barrowman). Also, it’s not like it was an open secret like Harris or Savile. This has been public for years and as far as I can gather, never ended with anyone being irreparably damaged by the events.
I always felt sorry for Angus Deyton. He deserves a rubbing, but to lose his entire career over it? Far more have one far worse and are still going.
All the others can be redeemed, but Rolf Harris 👹 was an absolute monster 🤮

John Leslie is another, all of those allegations robbed him of his presenting career. He only does local radio now, and occasionally does DJ gigs.
Simon Dee was an interesting one, he was one of the original DJs on Radio 1, when this had 22 million listeners a week, and was given a very popular chat show that was like the Wogan of its day. Yet rather than being content with a successful career that could have lasted for decades, he demanded more money from the BBC, was sacked and his career died in the space of a year. In a way you feel sorry for him as he ended up broke and was hardly ever seen after 1970.

My main concern with the above is Barrowman’s accent. When did it become 100% “Scottish” sounding?
Michael Barrymore should’ve been on this list. Maybe a part 2.
