- I felt every bit of that first 25 seconds or so from right behind the car lol. The cold start is a bit violent with the garage walls so close. As always, best with headphones!
I have one and i still listen to videos , still can’t believe i own it
I feel that lol. I still listen to them as well. I’ve had the car nearly a year & still get impressed by how good it sounds.
Sounds really good. I had the muffler/res delete but i put the muffler back on bc of drone. Thinking about taking the 2nd cat off and leaving the res off too hoping that will sound pretty good without drone.
very nice
I’m assuming the 2nd cat delete didn’t throw any codes as it’s not monitored? I ordered the Evilla Motorsports midpipe and it looks like it deletes the second cat 😬😂 and I have a muffler delete.
That is correct
@@jimbobspov sweet. Can’t find any videos with the setup I’m going with so I’m going in blind 😂 hopefully it’s not too loud but I like that you can get more pops and turbo sound by removing the cat.
If theirs no 02 sensor in it its not going to throw codes
How’s it sound on the highway? Does it drone a lot or is it manageable?
The drone can be a bit much around 3k RPM if you're on the gas but whether or not that's manageable is up to you. I'm don't spend a lot of time on the highway so I'm fine with it until I can afford to try a different setup.
@@jimbobspov I gotcha I was thinking of doing an exhaust but I do a lot of highway so I’m not sure if I should commit or not
@@Ethan-.-. I think you just gotta find the right setup. There should be ways to get the sound you want without the drone but for how cheap this is, it might be worth trying it out. I definitely wouldn't say it's unbearable but that's just me.
Trying to decide between either the resonator or 2nd cat delete.. already have the muffler deleted. Sounds deeper with the cat gone
I think it's a little bit deeper but I've also heard that the tone gets deeper with more mileage. Definitely still raspy but I think that's the muffler delete. I'm eventually going to upgrade my resonator & add a nice muffler to compliment that if I don't just get an XForce catback.
Have a picture of how the did the muffler delete?
I do not but I’m pretty sure it’s basically a y pipe
Do you still have you resonator? I was full straight pipe for a couple of months but then went to the xforce exhaust system
I did still have the stock resonator for this setup.
So does deleting the the second cat turn on the engine light
No
@@jimbobspov thank you good sir
@@jimbobspov I have a custom y pipe made so res and muff delete I’m about to chop that cat off
At 48 seconds how are you making you exhaust pop
Just revving the engine. They pop all the time even stock. It’s just louder when it’s not warmed up.
On a cold start rev the engine to about 1.5 -2k rpm’s and let off immediately it’ll pop 95% of the time. I’ve gotten it to pop super loud doing this
Nah fam, I’d install a nice hi flo muffler like an Apexi A1. This sounds too much like a hooptie from 91. The car is nice it’s just gonna be a heat up with a cop who’s in a bitch ass mood.
Cold start is the only time it doesn't sound great & the only time it really gets that loud except on WOT shifts so I'm really not worried about either of those things. I've done a couple pulls right in front of cops by accident & they don't even seem to notice lol.
is it dangerous to remove the cat? But honestly it sounds dang good
Not dangerous at all. It’s a great setup for the cost. I’ve upgraded the resonator since then. Should have some clips of that soon!
@@jimbobspov is muffler delete the same with cat delete?
@@MAmgoJumce Sorry I didn't see this before. I'm not sure what you meant by that.
Midasize it!!!
