How comfortable are the seats? Can you sit in it for a long drive? I’ve heard mixed reviews on the comfort of the seats.
FWIW, I've done multiple 3+ hour drives in my R1T and I really like the seat. Could just be preference or how well people tune it but it's my favorite place to be sitting including my teslas :-).
@@steveharris3627that’s great to hear! Yeah some UA-cam videos say the seats are too firm. Maybe it’s personal preference.
Our longest trip has been about 100 miles but the front seats seem very comfortable. The back seats may be slightly less comfortable.
I have a BMW X5 and a Jeep Grand Cherokee, and I just got the Rivian R1S; the seats are amazing, far better than my other two cars.
My 6 month experience - Rivian seats are comfortable, but do take some adjusting to dial in a perfect individual fit. Fortunately, the Rivian has multiple tilt/lumbar/recline motorized adjustments, so I now found them firm, but very comfortable on long drives.

@@metal_horses568 Definitely compliment. In fact, we will be driving the Lightning from Sanibel to Columbus to pick up our youngest son and then take him and his furniture to New York city where he is relocating, then drive it back down to Sanibel.
We have a Mach-e GTP and my wife has a 2020 Explorer ST and I've yet to drive the EV to Florida. We're doing a cruise out of Orlando in April and hoping the Tesla network will be up and running for us by then. The West Virginia stretch is what worries me. Thanks for the content
