I think this is a very well done video you give information a lot of others don’t because you didn’t just read the spec sheet you mentioned specifically how you would utilize the nailers etc in different situations….what’s your opinion of these guns now that it’s been a few years
Thanks! man the comment is much appreciated. i still own and use them. The nailers have not let me down. I know they dont like really hard woods if you drive the full length nail in either gun but other than the gen 2 milwaukee nailers these hitachi or metabo nailers are the best battery nailers for the money.
Rezorcful i probably should have... But that particle board was some dense packed hard stuff. I tried it with shorter nails later off camera and it worked.
donayre21 around the time i ordered the nailer the grade A was in stock and the price was 149.00 and some change. The 15ga and 18ga nailers both were grade A and priced at 149. When i received them they were in great shape they look someone had took them out of a new box then repackaged and shipped to me.that's how good of shape the nailers were when i received them. I did not order grade C so i can't speak to that. But i imagine it will look used but be fully operational.
What length nail? How hard is the material you are trying to nail? I found the 2 1/2 inch nails do not like very dense woods but shorter nails did not have an issue. I hope that helps.
rt4476 They were on a site called big sky tool. If you go to the site and type 18v and the nail gun you want it will show you what they still have and the prices for what grade tool you can purchase. Shipping is not included either... But the prices are good to make up for that . i dont know if they still have same deal i got . i purchased the grade A refurbished at 149.99 plus tax for each nailer and then shipping. I basically got both guns for price of 1 gun. Hope this helps
I think for a whole house remodel I would prefer a pneumatic, but since mostly I do small jobs now, these kinds of cordless tools are a lifesaver
I agree with you. Thanks for the comment!

Wish you would of seen if it redeemed itself on the particle board..

Those nails are overdriven. It doesn’t look like it jammed, it looks like the hammer got stuck
