How fabulous that you have a book with hand written recipes from your Father, Chef Alexis what a treasured posession that must be! These Cuban Black Beans look fantastic and such powerful childhood memories, so important I love this dish! Every dish does indeed have a story and I've enjoyed reading yours so much!!!
This is amazing that you have your Dad’s recipes. Perfect weekend to pay a tribute to him. I’m following this recipe. My daughter loves black beans so much. Mine are lacking. I’m going to try it your Dad’s way. That’s awesome your featured in Jill’s book. Looks good. I love that food can bring up such memories that everyone has.
The sofrito and style sofrito is what really gives all the flavor- my dad didn’t use tomato sauce but used wine- it’s simple- and yea I’m glad I have that recipe book- hope your well

go back to youtube my dear. keep it up, u are blessed
You don’t give any measurements like how much white wine ? Also the spices!
This is not a channel to show how to make Cuban Style Black Beans, ita a pitch to sell the cookbook.
No measurements, no details on the ingredients.
