Harudomerugu / ハルドメルグ - Battle Theme [ Monster Hunter Frontier G7 / モンスターハンターフロンティアG7 ]
Вставка
- Опубліковано 7 лют 2025
- Harudomerugu is an Elder Dragon that has a skeletal structure that superficially resembles those such as Kushala Daora. Unusually, Harudomerugu has four pairs of wings instead of the typical two pairs. Its scales are black in color, but this cannot usually be seen because of the metal coating it protects itself with. Harudomerugu has the unique ability to manipulate a kind of liquid metal as a defense mechanism. Its powers over this metal are so strong that it can cause metal projectiles to home in on a target, form out of thin air, or attach to its own body for use as weapons. When Harudomerugu enters a state of rage, it is constantly surrounded by a puddle of this metal that causes harm to anything that steps in it. Additionally, Harudomerugu coats its body with metal that seems to be in a solid form, but is actually liquid being held onto its body through the use of its powers. Most notably, this metal attaches to its wings in a way that allows it to fly - when the metal dissolves, its wings are revealed to be thin and tentacle-like, incapable of lifting Harudomerugu into the air.

scary thing about this Elder is that it tracks down it enemies to git rid of them.
Coupled with its control over liquid metal, it's safe to assume the designers were in a Terminator 2 mood when doing this monster.
@@ADoodGuy this man legit replied to a three year old post
@@symfonicraze8110 Quarantine has been getting lonely.
@@ADoodGuy lmao were all being reunited from our past experiences with monster hunter. man I miss the classic monster hunter days when it was all still niche. edit: although I only played a limited amount due to regional constraints, MHF was really unique with what it had to offer. yeah im sure u can tell quarantine has brought me through a fun time.
@@ADoodGuy IMO, His control over liquid metal reminds me of Avatar's Metalbenders. Specifically the ones in Korra where the metal moves like water.
Over the years, I've had questions about how Monster Hunter monsters got to be as terrifying and dangerous as they. However, I usually let them slide because they are A) fun to hunt and B) in a world where they could someday be like that in their environment. But what, in the Great Big Book of Wild Defense, type of environment allows for a creature to fully control LIQUID METAL!?!?!?
The same thing that allowed for a monster that shoots explosive Tar Lasers?
ultimasnightmare For the tar lazers, underground dwelling, it could dig it's way through the molten rock. Liquid metal? ... well... there's no real answer a human can give you.
SILVERBRO13 Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Gog's tar naturally produced within itself? One should probably question why it has such a bizarre diet. As for Haru, a more refined version of magnetism(down to the atomic level) could explain its ability, though that would mean the liquid metal possibly wasn't actually liquid. That or it's an ESP wielding Dragon that focuses on Metal Manipulation.
ultimasnightmare What's interesting is that the planet on which these Monster's reside would HAVE to at least be the size of Jupiter or Mars(Very different size comparisons, but it would have to be large nonetheless).
As for the monster being able to control liquid metal: Elder Dragon's are monsters of pure destruction, being able to cause natural, unnatural and supernatural disasters on a whim. I'm not entirely sure. Although your ESP idea is a very good one in itself.
SILVERBRO13 Mars is almost half the size of Earth. Jupiter is 20 times bigger than Mars. I don't think Mars is that large of a planet in comparison.
1:10 Here we go
you know what would be really really hard to fight..... a dragon that controls gravity
Would be the most op'ed monster in all MonHun existence.
00spiderwolfman
Rukodiora's magnetism came pretty close to that I think.
It would fit the climbing mechanics of forth gen
Climbing on gravitating rocks and attacking from above
+Adam Stewart
Holy FUCK this would be amazing. And maybe make little mini parkour courses to get onto its back.
+bmrjw Indeed and he would have specific moves of his own when on his back.
This monster seems strikingly alien, especially with this theme.
I mean if controlling liquid metal isn't alien then i don't know man
It's the most intelligent Elder Dragon
I love this song, it has that worrying yet playful sound to it.
It's worrying for the hunter fighting it. Harudomerugu is just playing with its food.
I like to think that Harudo's playfulness comes from how creative he can get from his metal powers.
Hell yeah, this is great
"Harudomerugu is considered to be the most intelligent of the Elder Dragons and uses the strange organ on its head to manipulate mercury. As it gets older, it becomes smarter and more powerful, able to calculate and manipulate its mercury in new ways. Meet Zenith Harudomerugu."
"Zenith Harudomerugu is an old individual that has higher intelligence compared to a normal Harudomerugu. As it grew older, it became smarter and figured out new ways to use its mercury in combat as it fights. It now attacks from various ranges and dimensions around it."
"Combined with its great mind, Zenith Harudomerugu's attacks are more powerful now since it can better manipulate the mercury at will. However, these stronger attacks come at a cost."
"Since it's using more mercury than usual for these attacks, it needs to produce more to replace what it used in battle, leaving it open to counterattacks from threats. It's especially vulnerable while it does this because there is currently no mercury protecting its body."
"Since the organ on its head is used to control the metal, it covered its head in mercury to protect that part from damage. Once that organ is broken, Zenith Harudomerugu will lose control of most of its power."
"Despite their appearance, Zenith Harudomerugu's bones are extraordinarily hard, and bits of metal can be found flowing through its blood. Even after dying, Zenith Harudomerugu's blade-like wings continue to gather liquid metal. Some of the metal on its body has changed color."

Why is this theme so valiant and sinister at the same time?!
"Tracking its ENEMIES" yeah idk why...
Ikr!
almost sounds like a mhw like theme
This is EASILY the most beautiful soundtrack to come out of Frontier G so far. I never get tired to listening to it.
And this is the music which you get if you mix Stravinsky with a little bit of asian music xD
My opinion :b
***** or this lol xD
Frontier G Genuine/G5 had Infernal Crimson Fatalis part 1, so I just *have* to disagree.
What about that humming bird guy? Dosent he/she have a beautiful theme too?
Shantiens theme is great
"While investigating the Snowy Mountains/Arctic Ridge, the Guild discovers a new species of Elder Dragon living there before the monster attacks Mezeporta after humans invaded its territory. This monster is named Harudomerugu, the Silver Controlling Dragon."
"Harudomerugu is a bizarre monster that has up to four pairs of blade-like wings instead of one like other Elder Dragons. It has no film or webbing on them to allow it to fly, but it uses an unexpected substitute."
"Harudomerugu is nicknamed the Silver Controlling Dragon because it can control and manipulate liquid metal on its body. This "mercury" is produced by red organs found on several parts of its body, and it uses the substance in various ways like as film for its wings."
"Much like how hunters wear armor for protection, Harudomerugu covers those parts in liquid metal to defend itself against attacks. While the red organs are covered in this substance, most attacks barely do any damage against Harudomerugu."
"While Harudomerugu primarily uses the liquid metal for defense, it'll use it to attack as well. Its attacks and fighting style are often compared to other monsters and hunters because it can freely change the shape of its liquid metal, and use it to create weapons."
"Harudomerugu can create all sorts of weapons to fight off threats. Harudomerugu has been seen forming blades, daggers, and disk to attack enemies with. It has even been seen covering itself in the substances to create a giant ball of mercury."
"Harudomerugu is considered to be the smartest of all Elder Dragons from its ability to manipulate and shape the liquid metal. Its high intelligence is also supported by the shape of its horn, which suggests that Harudomerugu is constantly thinking up new ideas on the fly."
"While attacking, Harudomerugu will take some of the liquid metal off its body as it fights, leaving some parts of it vulnerable to attacks for a set amount of time."
"When enraged, it'll produce more liquid metal in its body than usual, and it'll be surrounded by a mercury aura that damages nearby creatures."
"This monster is highly territorial in nature. If another monster or hunter invades its turf, it'll track them down before eliminating them. When it was first discovered, it followed the hunters that found it back to Mezeporta."

Really hope it gets added to Iceborne since frontier is gome.
@Luke Fraczek I'm getting a gut feeling that when mh6 comes it will have a lot of frontier monsters and game mechanics as the monsters we have now are feeling more frontier like

One of my favorite soundtracks in Frontier and elder dragon
is fun to use this soundtracks to running a way from a monster
That piano is tearing everything apart jfc. I'm amazed
That piano
I got a KH2 vibe from this theme! I started thinking of the battles with Xemnas as soon as I heard that piano!
Brandon BK201
I can hear a bit of KH in there.
Brandon BK201 I also noticed that the male blademaster armor from this monster somewhat resembles Xemnas' armored form from KH2
+Brandon BK201 YES, I knew that part reminded me of another track in a game, but didnt know witch one
That what I said this theme sounds like kh
0:57 this part goes so hard tho
About time u posted this · thx m8
I would love to see this track played live...
Love the rippling puddle that surrounds him during the fight :D
imo the most underrated song in the series. this song slaps hard enough to be top 10 for me. the musical arrangement for this is INSANE
This thing looks extremly cool
I LOVE THIS THEME! I really like how most elders have a weird relationship with minerals or metals- like Teo and Luna literally eating them and Velkhana, Kushala, and sort of Ruiner Nerg are all covered in metals, but with Harudomerugu it feels like he's the conclusion of this "trend" in elder dragons, literally being able to control it. Idk I just feel like that's really cool, though I do wish he has more of an actual reasoning behind why he uses his liquid metal... but eh whatever it's an Elder Dragon.
This elder dragon looks like someone attached great swords on it
Along with Inagami and the others,
THIS GUY NEEDS TO COME BACK TOO!!
I just fought him and it's INCREDIBLE, he hits hard as fuck but still is a fun fight
NO
@@ehoraida5900 fuck yeah. It's just that guaranteed stun spin attack that fucks me up as a "GS user" sometimes (i possess a Black Flame Greatsword so i use that against him), but he rarely uses that attack so it's all fun and games
this thing was the second most horrifying monster to me because of its theme the piano is just so eerie to me
Man these frontier Monster sure looks Ominous and otherworldly..
Harodumerugus Theme kind of gives me Kingdom Hearts Vibes(which is a very good thing because I always loved the soundtracks💙) , and even its visuals are fitting. It kind of reminds me of Xemnas.

Custom name: Hydragyu, in reference to the antique name for mercury
Now that we have Magneto over here... I now expect the Phoenix! telekinesis(OP hunter ragdoll ability) and telepathy(summons or brainwashes all) as well as resurrection like the name suggests.
Not quite that but Ruko and Rebi actually control magnetism, Harudomerugu's abilities are actually closer to Telekenisis
@@someboiwhogivesadamn It possesses a special organ that controls it
Now that i think about it, does needing a specific organ to freely control a substance make Harudomerugu weaker than monsters like Kirin of Kushala? Because cushala controls the wind and Kirin summons thunders (which is more impressive than controlling mercury), but none of them needs an extra organ to do it so...
@@athos9293irin's horn and the kushela's back contain an organ. If I remember correctly, the only way to weak kushela's wind organ is to poison it because breaking the head and back doesn't weaken the wind. For kirin, breaking the horn makes it lose control of it's lightning making it's attacks a lot less accurate.
Just imagine this dude in future MH games, or in rise, sick
Well we gpt Espinas, so it could happen...
True that!
this is the best monster ive ever hunted its true

"After the New Guild Master sighted the Elder Dragon, the Guild sent a group of hunters to find the drake and ended up finding a new species of Kushala Daora only spoke about in legends. This monster is called the Garuba Daora, the Gold Dust Dragon."
"In the past, it was silver like Kushala Daora, but from its diet and living in a different environment, Garuba Daora's appearance has changed. It feeds on rare ore and drinks mineral-filled water, giving Garuba Daora its golden shell and the crystals that adorn its body."
"Like Kushala Daora, Garuba Daora can manipulate wind, but it doesn't cause massive storms whenever it appears in an area. Rather than storms, the skies are clear and sunny when Garuba Daora appears in a locale."
"Garuba Daora's wind is different from Kushala Daora's since it leaves behind trails of gold dust. This gold dust is a byproduct of its diet, and it uses it to create crystals. Much like Akura Vashimu's, Garuba Daora's crystals will explode over time when removed from its body."
"The gold dust that it releases from its body make it difficult to see Garuba Daora, which is the reason why it was difficult to identify it previously."
"Unlike Kushala Daora, Garuba Daora is capable of creating tornadoes with its tail. Its tail has changed its shape from Garuba Daora living and adapting to a different environment. Seemingly, it uses this part to aid it in flying."
"The quartz crystals on its head, claws, wings, and tail are very transparent. They can gather and release a large amount of sunlight around an area, severely burning any creatures around Garuba Daora. This can also damage Garuba Daora, so it protects itself with its wind aura."
"The attack can instantly cart hunters, so they need to be within Garuba Daora's wind aura to protect themselves from the attack. Although Shantien and Garuba Daora are fought on the Large Exploration Ship, both live in completely different environments."
"Garuba Daora brought a new element in Monster Hunter Frontier called Wind (Japanese 風), which is a combination Ice (80%) and Thunder (80%). This element is one that many fans have wanted for a long time but in a different form."
"While Inagami's design is tamer, Garuba Daora was given its golden, flashy appearance to reflect Monster Hunter Frontier G."

Gravity? This monster controls a liquid metal substance that it produces. Freely controlling the wind is more impressive.
Out of all amazing monsters...Lavasioth.
We don't talk about this.
Holy shnike that piano is awesome!
I think out of all the frontier monsters, this one is my favorite. I love its design and the ability to control liquid metal. The way it controls it in battle is soooooo damn cool looking. And i adore the music too!! 1:18 auughh i love this part.
I love how the goofy rhythm plays just before FULL ON DARK SOULS OST STARTS PLAYING
I’m thinking it’s new ultimate attack should be like Safi’jiva’s attack where it creates a huge ball of its silver and throws it down like Goku’s spirit bomb, only as it clashes against the ground, an ENORMOUS barrage of silver shards shatter off the sphere and scatter all over the arena. That’s when the cover would come handy because not only it has the potential to kill you, if you survive it gives you a bleed status that makes you take more damage than normal bleed.
This guy is such an unfair fight without anti stun. The side swipe hits the side of you when you raise the shield directly at it, will stun you and ko you on the spot.
