@Luke Fraczek You would know that if you played a "real" MH or Frontier. Especially Frontier is the opposite of World with very epic and difficult boss fights. Disufiroa is one example of so many great monsters in Frontier.
I haven't found any official explanation for it's name, but I can only assume it's based on "dysphoria", due to the conflicting elements of fire and ice.
Disufiroa its just romanji, which is just japanese kanjis translated to letters of the alphabet, translating romanji to kanji and then interpreting the result to english should give a name wayyyyy different than "disufiroa"
After some time passes, the stranded hunters repair the Large Exploration Ship and make it operational, taking to the skies once again as they leave the volcanic region. Not too far away from where they fought Shantien, they stumble upon an evil-looking barren wasteland. It looks like they walked straight into the underworld, and there doesn't seem to be any kind of life here. No plants grow here... No animals live here... But why? The hunters will soon learn why, and the one monster that lives here is often considered to be the "strongest." In ancient times, Shantien fought against a powerful Elder Dragon for supremacy over its domain, but it was ultimately defeated by the monster at the end of the great battle. Shantien's rival is an Elder Dragon known as Disufiroa, the Frozen Seraphim Dragon. Long thought to be extinct by the Guild until it was rediscovered by hunters on the Large Exploration Ship, Disufiroa is considered to be the strongest monster encountered in G-rank for Mezeporta. In terms of strength, Disufiroa ranks far above most other Elder Dragons. Disufiroa lives at the World's End, and it is the only known creature to live there. No plants or animals can be found there, and that's all because of Disufiroa's presence. Just like Alatreon, Disufiroa's abilities make it impossible for a stable ecosystem to sustain itself. Disufiroa is nicknamed the Frozen Seraphim Dragon because of its ability to control fire and ice. Its horn controls cold air, creating ice, while organs in its body produce fire. The two elements constantly conflict with each other as Disufiroa uses them together. Its control over these elements causes some of its scales to be white and cold or red and hot. By using these elements together, Disufiroa can cause extreme temperature changes to an ecosystem, making it difficult for other species to live within the same environment as it does. Although it can control fire and ice simultaneously, it comes at a cost. Disufiroa is one of the strongest monsters known, but its power is its greatest weakness. Disufiroa's life is always in danger when it uses the two elements, meaning it could kill itself if it loses control. To stay alive, Disufiroa has to keep a balance between its elemental powers to maintain control of them. If it loses control of just one of them, it'll end up freezing itself like a frozen statue and dying. Rumor has it that some frozen Disufiroa aren't really dead. Interestingly, countless scars can be found on its wings. They may come from previous battles it has had.Disufiroa's weapons have a new element called Frozen Seraphim (Japanese 熾凍), which is a combination of Fire (80%), Ice (80%), and Dragon (40%). A fun fact about Disufiroa and Shantien is that both are weak to each other's elements, more so Disufiroa. From the beginning of its development, Disufiroa's whole design and concept is meant to reflect "strength." Throughout Monster Hunter Frontier G, Disufiroa is called "G's Strongest" (Japanese G級最強), plus it's the second Conquest War monster introduced to Frontier. ---------------------------------- There has been unusual activity at the World's End recently. It looks as if Disufiroa has returned, but something seems different about this individual compared to the last one. After Monster Hunter Frontier G5, it had two smaller updates in-between before G6: G5.1 and G5.2. In these two updates, Monster Hunter Frontier introduced a new addition to the Conquest War system called the Solstice War (Japanese 至天征伐戦). The Solstice Wars were special in the fact that the monsters that appeared in them were at their highest level, Level 9999, from the start. Like Conquest War monsters, these monsters had increased defense and attack power, making them much stronger than any average monster. Not only did these monsters get a buff in their stats, but these monsters also gained new moves and another phase to their battle, bringing out their full potential. There are only two Solstice War monsters in Frontier, and the first was Disufiroa. It had made its grand return! Though most Disufiroa die once they lose control of their power, some have figured out ways to free themselves from suspended animation upon freezing themselves. Once these powerful individuals have reawakened, they'll surround themselves in fire, melting most of the ice off their body, before fighting more fiercely than ever before. When it was first revealed that Disufiroa had come back stronger than ever for G5.1, everyone was speechless. They somehow made the strongest monster more terrifying than ever and come back with a vengeance, wanting revenge after we had supposedly slain it. *Source: BannedLagiacrus Twitter page*
"Zerureusu's recent appearance seems to have foretold a great disaster. Recently, some kind of giant Elder Dragon has been reported destroying nearby villages, leaving nothing but destruction behind, and a large sphere of energy has been sighted hovering over Castle Schrade." "Could it be that the legend has returned?" "In Monster Hunter Frontier G3.1, a third Conquest War monster besides Shantien and Disufiroa was added to the game. After years of slumber, Fatalis had made its comeback in not only Monster Hunter 4, but Monster Hunter Frontier. Both games revamped it the same year, 2013." "While Monster Hunter 4 revamped Fatalis in general, Frontier brought it into G-rank and revamped it only for that rank for the Conquest War system. Unlike the other incarnations, this Fatalis has overwhelming power and has an unnatural vibe to it, similar to its lore." "The G-rank Fatalis is a variation of Fatalis, more powerful than an average individual. Seemingly, G-rank Fatalis's changes are caused by dragon energy and an unknown substance flowing throughout its body, making it more formidable than ever before." "It is said that it can control the dragon element in its body by using its horns, and it seems to release the energy in various ways. The prominent way it releases dragon energy is from its chest, which has changed. Dark flames cover its chest, leaking out extraordinary power." "If that wasn't enough, G-rank Fatalis's shell has become stronger from its immense energy, making it impervious to strikes from weapons and allowing the monster to regenerate from extreme wounds quickly. It can also scare off other creatures by simply flapping its wings." "A creepy light coming from its eyes invites those it stares at into its dark depths, and unknown substance flowing through its body doesn't have an exact weight, though it seems that might be caused by its dragon energy." "G-rank Fatalis has all sorts of attacks that fit with the whole unnatural thing it has going on with its lore, some of which I didn't even know about until recently. It plays dead at higher levels before bursting back to life and can create portals (I'm dead serious)." "The biggest attack it has is known as the "Giant Star" (Japanese 巨星). Fatalis will breathe dragon energy into the star floating above Schrade before flying into the air and forcing it down to the ground. This attack covers half of Castle Schrade." "The G-rank Fatalis uses the Black Flame Element, a combination of Fire (50%) and Dragon (150%). " "Like G-rank Fatalis, G-rank Crimson Fatalis is a more powerful variation of Crimson Fatalis that has adapted to living in the depths of active volcanoes. From it living in such harsh conditions for so long, this Crimson Fatalis's appearance has changed drastically." "G-rank Crimson Fatalis can't summon meteors to its location like the normal one since it is living inside an active volcano, so it has learned how to use its environment to its advantage. G-rank Crimson Fatalis can manipulate the lava in its lair in and uses all sorts of tactics." "This Elder Dragon will even destroy some of the land that hunters are standing on, so they'll fall into the lava below and die instantly. Its flying and climbing abilities are also extraordinary. It can sometimes be seen flying upside, and it'll scale up the walls of the crater." "The heat from its scales make it difficult to get close to this Crimson Fatalis, and some of them seem to call disasters to it. A flap of its wings will force any creature that encounters it to fight it, and its eyes and horns produce an intense heat that reflects its anger." "While the G-rank Fatalis uses the Black Flame Element, a combination of Fire (50%) and Dragon (150%), G-rank Crimson Fatalis uses the Crimson Demon Element (Japanese 紅魔). This element is a combination of Fire (150%) and Dragon (50%). Like G-rank Fatalis, its armor gets a unique skill called as "Blazing Majesty." G-rank White Fatalis can literally erase a hunter from existence with its electricity." "Like the other two G-rank Fatalis, G-rank White Fatalis has its own element known as Emperor's Roar (Japanese 皇鳴). This element is a combination of Thunder (150%) and Dragon (50%)." Have you ever seen the same comment from user named "Luke Frazeck" before in this video way back than the one which he posted one day ago? Because I'm sure you replied this person's comment and saying Fatalis is the God of monsters in MH.
I don't quite hear it, unless you're referring to the faint similarity better it and the "King of Monsters" theme from "Final Wars". Edit: I hope that someone puts that theme over Fatalis's intro.
I got to fight Disufiroa for the first time this week and honestly, pretty fun fight, granted it was the level 1 version so no phase 3 but i'll get there eventually, just gotta get good to finish the level 200 one.
Disufiroa sunbreak intro: none shall return from the forgotten black dragon, its own existence may end its life, a creature that can end the world, the worlds end is here, no being has the sheer power to match, even Fatalis, Dire Miralis, and Alatreon the black dragons, run at its mere presence, for this beast of Seraphim, is a true god in its own right, it will end the world as we know it, Frozen Seraphim Dragon - Disufiroa
This dragon of legendary ice and fire and thunder needs to return in a future monster hunter game I’ve never played monster hunter frontier unfortunately. But I’ve seen videos and this guys soundtrack heck I have the phase 2 theme on my Spotify account liked list And I really love the phase 2 because it makes me feel like I am going to mess some one up if they ever challenged me to a fight to the death
Unpopular opinion: I think based of destructive capability, the map, power scaling and the fear factor: Dhisufiroa is the strongest, even above Fatalis.
I think everyone wants them to be, because Disu is cooler (Alatreon is cooler too), and because Lagi had some input on it, but they are simply not as powerful or menacing. I will say that the Fatalis kin do need an update to their whole design and fight though. The G versions in Frontier had some pretty cool work, but mostly still felt similar - probably because they just always sort of move as lumbering and slow when they're moving, which is menacing in its own right (like it's not worried about you, you're just a plaything - you see how it licks its lips when it sees you in almost every iteration). I haven't played the Iceborne version yet (I'll get around to it) but I feel like we still have yet to see a seriously angry Fatalis (I mean, they're always angry, but you know what I mean). Every other monster starts feeling more desperate or unhinged as the fight goes on, due to the crazy additions per phase. Faster, stronger, more desperate, etc. Fatalis needs something like that - where it starts off lumbering, just slowly approaching you like actual death does, a mountain of power with a reputation that knows it can't be touched (basically how it currently is). But then as the fight goes on and another phase kicks in, you feel like it really starts to notice your threat level, and sees you as such rather than just food. It starts flailing more, spitting destruction more often, moving faster, flying more, doing more divebomb style attacks preceded by breath so it creates an explosion then plunges through it, expanding and pulling the wall of fire with it as it does so. All of which creates ground craters and all of that too (like the Unknown Flying Wyvern does). All of these things it should be doing to showcase the power it is _meant_ to have, which it only shows when desperate. Most of the time that is shown by it slowly roaring in place and stuff around it just explodes, or giving it an armor mode - but in some of the intros, especially White Fatalis, it _does_ fly _extremely_ fast - imagine the fight having some of that in it. Until then I feel like your opinion isn't as unpopular as you might think.
Disufiroa is the strongest Elder Dragon in existence. It's the apex of monsters. Shantien is the only other monster capable of coming close. Yes Shantien is stronger than Fatalis by a significant margin. Fatalis is ranked number 3 on the list.
@@pablohater9934 He always has been. Early lore, if you can call it that, is basically all we have - but it is always the final mission or final DLC mission in every game including World, where it's implied the Black Fatalis (weakest one) chased Alatreon away (people still speculate this so believe what you want, even BannedLagi says he was fleeing Fatalis), like it does every other monster it comes across including the Lao Shan Lung we fight in the OG games. It is the nemesis of the Hunters. The Zenith version of White Fatalis can literally vaporize the Hunter. Etc. Alatreon is a weaker Disu getting chased out by the weakest Fatalis in the "story" game. Disu would'nt run, he'd fight White Fatalis, and be obliterated by its dragon-infused red lightning.

In ancient times, Shantien fought against a powerful Elder Dragon for supremacy over its domain, but it was ultimately defeated by the monster at the end of the great battle.
----------------------------------
There has been unusual activity at the World's End recently.

"Zerureusu's recent appearance seems to have foretold a great disaster. Recently, some kind of giant Elder Dragon has been reported destroying nearby villages, leaving nothing but destruction behind, and a large sphere of energy has been sighted hovering over Castle Schrade."
"Could it be that the legend has returned?"
"In Monster Hunter Frontier G3.1, a third Conquest War monster besides Shantien and Disufiroa was added to the game. After years of slumber, Fatalis had made its comeback in not only Monster Hunter 4, but Monster Hunter Frontier. Both games revamped it the same year, 2013."
"While Monster Hunter 4 revamped Fatalis in general, Frontier brought it into G-rank and revamped it only for that rank for the Conquest War system. Unlike the other incarnations, this Fatalis has overwhelming power and has an unnatural vibe to it, similar to its lore."
"The G-rank Fatalis is a variation of Fatalis, more powerful than an average individual. Seemingly, G-rank Fatalis's changes are caused by dragon energy and an unknown substance flowing throughout its body, making it more formidable than ever before."
"It is said that it can control the dragon element in its body by using its horns, and it seems to release the energy in various ways. The prominent way it releases dragon energy is from its chest, which has changed. Dark flames cover its chest, leaking out extraordinary power."
"If that wasn't enough, G-rank Fatalis's shell has become stronger from its immense energy, making it impervious to strikes from weapons and allowing the monster to regenerate from extreme wounds quickly. It can also scare off other creatures by simply flapping its wings."
"A creepy light coming from its eyes invites those it stares at into its dark depths, and unknown substance flowing through its body doesn't have an exact weight, though it seems that might be caused by its dragon energy."
"G-rank Fatalis has all sorts of attacks that fit with the whole unnatural thing it has going on with its lore, some of which I didn't even know about until recently. It plays dead at higher levels before bursting back to life and can create portals (I'm dead serious)."
"The biggest attack it has is known as the "Giant Star" (Japanese 巨星). Fatalis will breathe dragon energy into the star floating above Schrade before flying into the air and forcing it down to the ground. This attack covers half of Castle Schrade."
"The G-rank Fatalis uses the Black Flame Element, a combination of Fire (50%) and Dragon (150%). One other thing worth noting about G-rank Fatalis is its armor skill, Dark Finale (Japanese 最期の閃黒), which straight-up shows the rumored Fatalis possession in-game."

"A new locale called the Deep Crater, a lone island standing in the middle of an active volcano that is comparable to the bowels of hell. This place is the lair of a powerful Elder Dragon that lives in the area's depths."
"When many wyverns are slain, the legend is revived."
"The crimson flames burn the earth, leaving no ashes behind."
"Those that seek light will face an unavoidable death."
"An unavoidable death..."
"Previously in G3, Fatalis became the third Conquest War monster added to Frontier. In G Genuine, the fourth and final Conquest War monster was Crimson Fatalis. Crimson Fatalis was revamped in G-rank in 2014 and was nicknamed the "Eviliest Elder Dragon." "
"Like G-rank Fatalis, G-rank Crimson Fatalis is a more powerful variation of Crimson Fatalis that has adapted to living in the depths of active volcanoes. From it living in such harsh conditions for so long, this Crimson Fatalis's appearance has changed drastically."
"G-rank Crimson Fatalis can't summon meteors to its location like the normal one since it is living inside an active volcano, so it has learned how to use its environment to its advantage. G-rank Crimson Fatalis can manipulate the lava in its lair in and uses all sorts of tactics."
"This Elder Dragon will even destroy some of the land that hunters are standing on, so they'll fall into the lava below and die instantly. Its flying and climbing abilities are also extraordinary. It can sometimes be seen flying upside, and it'll scale up the walls of the crater."
"The heat from its scales make it difficult to get close to this Crimson Fatalis, and some of them seem to call disasters to it. A flap of its wings will force any creature that encounters it to fight it, and its eyes and horns produce an intense heat that reflects its anger."
"While the G-rank Fatalis uses the Black Flame Element, a combination of Fire (50%) and Dragon (150%), G-rank Crimson Fatalis uses the Crimson Demon Element (Japanese 紅魔). This element is a combination of Fire (150%) and Dragon (50%). Like G-rank Fatalis, its armor gets a unique skill called as "Blazing Majesty." "
"Interestingly, Main Series released its own G-rank Crimson Fatalis in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate that same year."

"Monster Hunter Frontier Z's tenth anniversary update introduced a new area, called the Fortress Ruins, for a new monthly event that would replace the Sky Corridor Expedition completely. This new event is Hunter's Road (Japanese 狩煉道)."
"Instead of moving through a tower that has a random layout each time you enter it, hunters are moving forward in the Fortress Ruins. There are only two paths you can take in Hunter's Road, and each path has a different monster that you can hunt and must slay to further progress."
"This event is basically a boss rush mode where you'll continue moving forward with each successful hunt. It's endless, and you continue hunting in the Fortress Ruins as long as you want, but you'll be forced to leave if you cart three times. This event is for true hunters only."
"You don't get any carves from Hunter's Road, but you get points from breaking parts and slaying monsters that can be used to purchase special items, materials, decorations, etc. This event also doesn't let you bring any items, NPC hunters, and more with you while doing it."
"You can purchase items with the points you have accumulated, but you have to think wisely about what you 'll get."
"Every ten successful hunts, a special monster exclusive to the event will appear in the Fortress Ruins. Hunters can either face it or avoid it, though challenging the "Emperor" isn't wise if you aren't ready and it'll make sure you regret your decision if you dare fight it."

"In 2013, G-rank Fatalis was added to Monster Hunter Frontier, and, in 2014, G-rank Crimson Fatalis joined it. For years, White Fatalis was nowhere to be seen until 2017. During the tenth anniversary for Frontier, G-rank White Fatalis finally appeared."
"Unlike its two brethren, this White Fatalis isn't a Conquest War monster, however, its power and strength is comparable to one as well as other endgame monsters. Its roars, tremors, and wind pressure are also comparable to a Zenith Species'."
"Like its brethren, G-rank White Fatalis is a more powerful variation of White Fatalis, but how this individual comes to be is unknown, though it seems to be remarkably old. What is known is that its entire body is overflowing with immense power."
"Each one of its scales contains an unbelievable power that can't be rivaled, and its shell is overflowing with it and emits a beautiful white radiance. Its shell also shows no signs of decomposition or corrosion of any kind."
"This individual's horns have turned blue, and have become longer and sharper compared to a normal White Fatalis'. When enraged, its horns and spikes will turn crimson in color, and this White Fatalis will reveal its true power."
"It is said that the spikes on its wings are how it's able to manipulate its supposedly immeasurable power, and it's said one look at its eyes will make a hunter lose their fighting spirit. G-rank White Fatalis can literally erase a hunter from existence with its electricity."
"Like the other two G-rank Fatalis, G-rank White Fatalis has its own element known as Emperor's Roar (Japanese 皇鳴). This element is a combination of Thunder (150%) and Dragon (50%)."
"Long before MHF-G10 and MHF-Z, the Frontier Team was originally going to make Guanzorumu the special monster for Hunter's Road but ended up going with G-rank White Fatalis instead. Both the Fortress Ruins and Cloud Viewing Fortress are quite similar as well."

Best Monster Hunter theme ever
This dragon of legendary ice and fire and thunder needs to return in a future monster hunter game I’ve never played monster hunter frontier unfortunately. But I’ve seen videos and this guys soundtrack heck I have the phase 2 theme on my Spotify account liked list And I really love the phase 2 because it makes me feel like I am going to mess some one up if they ever challenged me to a fight to the death
Unpopular opinion:
I think based of destructive capability, the map, power scaling and the fear factor:
Dhisufiroa is the strongest, even above Fatalis.
@@noxfortuna1391
Prove it. Because I guarantee you, no - and that White Fatalis kills Disu even in Frontiers.
@@Ch4oTiK Well i disagree that Fatalis is number 1 but can you factual prove that he is stronger than dhisu?
@@pablohater9934
He always has been.
Disu would'nt run, he'd fight White Fatalis, and be obliterated by its dragon-infused red lightning.
this song is a pray for a world's end god
