the announcers in the game said in pre-game Butker kicked one almost 70 yards and it was good.
Mahomes has had probably 5 bad games in 7 years. This was one of them….and they still find a way to win. Chiefs are a juggernaut

For Mahomes stats, don't forget this 50 yarder to Kelce was called back, and a 40 yard to Rice was called back. Dumb errors by KC linemen -- vcould have been a much bigger win for the VChiefs.

Trial by fire. Look at it this way: These were two of the toughest games on the schedule, and we won. These are the games we *typically* lose in the regular season. I wouldn't even be sounding the alarm if we were 0-2 right now. That's where I had us.

The BIG Difference between these 2 teams is humility, professionalism, and attitude. Chase, and others talk to much. Joe’s fumble to TD and Chase’s Penalty hurt us big time.
However we started off 0-2 previous seasons unfortunately but bounced back strong.
Also this year we have one of the easiest schedules.
I think we’ll meet KC in the playoffs again hopefully in the Jungle.

Actually the Chiefs outplayed the Bengals because they won. They made at least one or two better plays to win the game. Chiefs receiver is penalized due to a foul aka bad defensive play by the Bengals and Butker hit game winning field goal so Chiefs marginally outplayed the Bengals. The better statement would be that in spite of a great offensive performance and defensive performance by the Bengals costly turnovers and lack of execution at critical moments cost the Bengals the game.
One small correction. Costly turnover for Bengals. Chiefs are the ones who had multiple turnovers...and Cincy couldn't close the deal in spite of it.
All hail the glorious Chiefs. KC is Cincy's Super Bowl. They don't get up for anybody else like they do when they play KC.

I see people always saying there were tough ref calls on both sides but all that matters it what happens on the last most important play of the game. All those other penalties mean jack in comparison. The refs know this, too. They know how to make it look impartial and still gift the game to who they want.

Well if you learned nothing, here's what I (a Chiefs fan) learned;
1. Andy had one of the crappiest game plans ever. We're a PASSING team; lets run 10 into the ground (and lose him for 6-8 weeks) b/c we're a) lazy, b) cocky or c) stupid. ALL bad options.
2. Andy is pig-headed (not bad most of the time). But for like FOURTH or FIFTH TIME, letting ONE EDGE ruin your entire O, is so far beyond stupid I cant believe it. You gotta learn sometime.
3. DL not named Chris Jones are better than you think but a product of scheme. They let Burrow escape 4-5 times and Lamar like 10x-15x times shows you NEED another DL who can finish.
4. CBs not named McDuffie got exposed. Bad. They let some JAG get TWO scores? Srsly??
5. Losing 10 for 6-8 weeks gonna hurt WAY more than you know right now. 100% on Andy. Just like NOT giving rookie LT chip help EVERY PLAY.
6. Mahomes is not having a good start. Not really worried but half is on him and half on not letting top 2-3 passer BE a top 2-3 passer. This is also on OC who is barely avg play caller.
7. Credit to Cincy; they showed up but they're about over. They cant get up for anyone but Chiefs. Ravens and Philly will beat em. Texans would wipe them off face of the Earth.

Butker had been practicing 70-yard kicks in Sundays pregame. Mahomes passed for so few yards because Chiefs had a decent running game yesterday. Bengals will be OK. Chiefs have some problems to fix.

The Chiefs look well tuned and making adjustments. Still mistakes were made but they recovered. Bengals bounced back on an ugly opener to the Pats. Bengals need to focus on the end goal. Chase getting that penalty is sadly what hurt the Bengals at a critical time. Chiefs have the discipline and Bengals are still learning. Still a lot of season left but would be interesting to see a match up end of year in the playoffs.

Not sure, either Anthony or Vonn Bell. Battle had a good rookie season last year, not the fastest player in the secondary but positions himself well and is a solid tackler. He was getting a ton of snaps at the end of last season but I believe was only on the field for one snap in this game.

First off, we've had the same DEFENSIVE Coordinator since 2019, Spags. EB was an OFFENSIVE Coordinator who went to the Commanders in 2023 & isn't even in the NFL anymore.
Bengals always have an excuse - Chiefs play terrible all the time and they just can't capitalize on it - so we'll just enjoy all the continued complaining lol

Worthy was covered like a blanket both interceptions. They were both obvious no throw and move to secondary receiver choices situations.
