I was a Park Ranger back in the 80'S, I rode a BMW R75, Cooks Corner was the only place , back in the day to get a cold drink for miles. The building at the end of the video look almost the same as it did back then.
I used to live in Trabuco Canyon when I had a Harley, and Cooks Corner was a mile from my house. This video is fun to see for that reason, and for the past several months I've been wanting a Hayabusa. So this video is pleasurable on multiple levels. The bike sounds awesome.
Very cool! 👊 You're 💯 the type of guy who digs these posts of mine ! 😄🤘 I have tons of Ortega Canyon recorded but haven't posted because it's been a lot of traffic. May go tomorrow morning. Hopefully won't be stuck behind a semi. Ha Cheers 🏍️💨
Busa Rider, how comfortable, for long distances(200 miles to 500 miles in a day), would that bike be for a person who is 6'2" or 6'3" tall? I wonder if the 'cramped' leg room due to the pegs would be too uncomfortable ?
I had a Gen 1 also... I'm just short of 6 ' 3” ... The pegs are definitely higher then my gen 1. I've done 300 mi in one day. Not as comfortable as my BMW RT of course. But way better than an R1 😃
Yes...for sure you can stay in 4th . I've gone through this Canyon in every gear a thousand times. 😆 This bike lives and breathes at 7k to 11k rpms if you want a spirited ride. Torque is at 112 lbs at 7k rpm and horsepower is at 190 at 9700 rpm. Motorcycles aren't made to stay below 3500 RPM because of carbon buildup. Thanks for watching !🤘 Cheers
Anyone notice the Cybertruck at 3:35 ? 😀🤘
Yeah but I tried not to. ;

Is it that crowded every Sunday now? I guess things have changed since the 90s when I hung out there. Also some idiot shot that place up recently.
