This is useful but more perceptive players will notice the delay between this and just a shining wizard. There's another input for a dash in giant swing, it won't work if your aim is to land GS from a far away sprint, but very useful for short ranges. Just do the full GS input, then f, f, df+1. Basically dash in after the GS input and hit df1 quickly. You will run in and do a GS. And it looks seamless. Can very easily mix that up with a short range isw. Should you drop the input it won't even be a big deal, cuz worst case you do a df1. It's also still possible to get blue sparks doing it this way, I managed to blue spark it online but it's very tricky and I am not even sure how I did it lol
@@stevensonlau You can but that's the same break as shining wizard. So if you specifically want muscle buster ye, you can do qcb then dash in and do b1+2 to get it. But it won't work as a mixup

I turned 45 in feb, and I’ve been a long loyalist for a couple decades…..blue spark throws and crazy hard for me to do on ps5 pad, and almost impossible to do on hitbox lol
Yeah, there’s a tiny flinch in the animation even from running in the GS compared to the SW but it’s really really quick if you do it fast with blue sparks
Been doing this since everyone breaks the shinning wizard. If not then running 3, and after running 3 if blocked 50/50 the grab mix up low or high grab
@@Austin7coolArea88 figure 4 is 1+2 break it’s same break as shinning wizard so opponent will see it coming. So your not really masking the shinning wizard
I have a question my British friend, why is wave dashing not oft seen by king. Is it some how inferior? Seems you can throw from it and it gives access to a lot of good mids
Crouch dashing definitely is a thing with King, but WAVE dashing not so much with exceptions of Federer and Brawlpro. Basically the levels if execution you have to do with King to wave dash is just not worth the reward, especially because you have to do it so fast for it to work, you don’t really cover much distance because each dash is so small/short. So really it just for style points Armour King however has a more traditional wave dash and you’ll see that a lot more when he drops as DLC I suspect.

@@beigemaster Yeah in higher levels it's a super good tool to cd giant swing or iSW to mask your input, on while running I'm not so sure, you have to do it very quickly to make it a good mix
Or do a Jaguar Sprint cancel into whatever throw. Works wonders in heat when people freeze up waiting to duck the RKO.

The percentage of people who will catch the delay is like 0.001% of players.

Like I said, I could never get this to work in previous games, but T8 just seems to have put everything in ‘Easy Mode’

Becomes 66/33 in your favour if you do db 2+3 while running.
You cover all -- 1, 2 and 1+2 -- throws.

Haven’t had a chance to try it yet- but I used to be able to do CD into ISW in T7 with enough practice, but could never land running GS
