I have been working for another company that had paid me a bit better as well because AT takes out so much of my paycheck.. What are the peak hours that are busiest for you? It is Eastern time here where I live and Im thinking of opening up more hours. Also now that you have your own business teaching English, how do you find clients? I could transfer my regulars from amazing talker, but how do I get ones once those finish? Thank you for your help!
Yeah.... Those fees were a huge turn off for me too as a teacher who doesn't have classes regularly. I also got super pissed when they decided to only allow teachers with a monthly income of 1000 dollars or so to have the privilege of making shorts to advertise their profile. I had made two shorts in Japanese and some Japanese English students were telling me that they came across my profile because of the shorts I put out. The platform seriously killed mh earning potential.🙄
Hi. I was a former Amazing Talker teacher and I will say that it wasn't an ideal part-time job. The company says that you can "choose your teaching schedule," but in reality, they pushed me to add more hours or else my account will be terminated. They preach about flexibility and the beauty of working online, but honestly with the amount of prep work, making my own resources, I had a horrible experience with Amazing Talker.
