- Home Depot run, then Used mini for removing some dirt behind house, loaded her up with a LOT of material, rocks, dirt etc, I may have overdone it a bit :). Best UTV EVER!

Hijet Climber Mini-truck, this one is a 1992, 7th Gen, S83P, 660cc Minitruck. The “climber” means it has rear axle lock.
S83p specs:
660cc 6 valve 3 cyl engine 48-53hp carburated
weight: 1500 lbs (dry)
length 10'8" (128"). width 4'6" (54") w/o mirrors. Height 5'10" (70")
Load capacity 800 lbs
Max Speed 55-60mph
Valve lash cold: intake 0.18mm exhaust 0.25mm

These are nice reliable machines that's why the big 3 petitioned congress to ban them for road use. Our domestic vehicle manufacturers can't compete with quality machines from Japan. Nice video👍😊

I love my mini truck so much. I have that thing going up and down hills here in upstate NY with big rounds of wood in the bed. Mini truck can handle huge loads of fire wood blocks on sketchy terrain without any troubles at all. Waaaaay better than any ATV! Love your videos.

That's a win, I bought a 54 one and a half ton farm truck and promtly took it down and let the loader put a big dump of recycled asphalt on me, I scooped off over half of that recycled asphalt before the dumper wanted to play let's just say after that I wasn't calling 5 tons on my tongue and a half

Diesel engine inline 4 banger, bigger hydrologic pump, 8 ply tires, and on board compressor with airbags to level load or maybe Toyota dually rear end = mini monster. Thank you so much for the idea

Thanks for sharing your project !! I used to have a john deere gator 825i, and I installed the hydraulic lift kit to have a dump bed. It was super handy for everything you can imagine, alas it was not road legal in VT or NY so i ended up selling it after I moved away to a much smaller plot of land. It was cool to see a bit under your dump bed, air horns & all. Were you getting water in your basement ? 🍻🧀
Earlier videos I showed the whole dump bed conversion. Yeah if it rained for 3 or 4 days soaking rain... I'd get a trickle of water in my basement

Dude thats bad ass! I'm trying to get my mini truck going. It's been sitting for 3 years with no carb on it. im in the process of taking down the motor to see what i need to do to fix her. I have a stuck valve or two I know of. I have a mitsubishi U42T.

@@MotoCheez recently acquired a 5stage ram with pump with a view to converting my 2002 single cab ford ranger, I'd really like to keep the original back on it but was worried about the extra weight of a new double chassis but seeing what little steelwork you got away with gives me a few more ideas 👍

Generally speaking a cubic yard of dirt is 1000 lbs so yeah, 'slightly' over loaded. ;)

Have you upgraded the alternator in your mini truck? If so what did you use? Have a 90 suzuki carry dumpbed with only a 40amp alternator, upgraded wiring and three led lights and radio and it strugles.
I haven't upgraded. Seems to do ok with what I have sofar

Did you install the rear air shocks from the Harley Rose kit? That supposed to help with squatting, I never haul loads to try it out like that.

What material did you use for bed protection?
I bought a square 1/4" bed matt from Tractor Supply and cut to size. Bolted up too of bed

I actually did videos last year, ended up using a large Pod filter, worked best. Especially since supercharger will be on by this winter.
MotoCheez well crap! I must have missed it. I saw where you were playing with different ones but never saw a “this is what I settled on” do you happen to have a part number?
MotoCheez I seen the one where you mod the box. Looks like you deleted it al together. What did you use to connect the new air filter to the carb?
I used the rubber tubing that went to the old airbox. The filter hangs where airbox was

Physics tells me that your fulcrum point is too low in the bed. Is there any way to move the actuator rod so that it is pushing at the end of the bed nearest the cab? Great stuff as always.

Hey @motocheez I think I heard those were stock rims in one of your other videos. They don't look like most of the steel 12x4 rims or the ones on the 92 Hijet I'm getting. Are they 4" wide? From the video they almost look like they have multi lug pattern on them and they're aluminum. I'd love to replicate this with the tire you have and like you've shown the 12x7 rims stick out a bit. Thanks for any advice and awesome videos!
They are stock, as in multi lug but stock size, I believe 4.5". I measured and said in a video but forgot lol

Is there somthing wrong with the old gas cap you have on your hawk 250? Because they got rid of them now its just a regular cap with no lock on it. They also got rid of the turnal signal noise but i like that.
The EFI hawk has a spin on cap because it has to seal better for emissions. That cap won't work on the carburetor hawk

What is the payload of the mini?
800lbs, but I've had 1800lbs and more lol
Your hydraulic ram is in the wrong place you're too low to the back of the tailgate bring it up toward the front of the dump bed you're basically pushing against your hinges as you're trying to dump the bed
It's copied from another mini set up. You're right it is better the other way, but it works. The other way gives better leverage.
Can a wheelbarrow carry 2500-3500 lbs, thats what a yard of dirt weighs, all that and it's road legal to-boot, or 20k for a UTV and still cant drive it on road, FORD should notice.......
