Dont know if you guys gives a damn but if you're bored like me atm then you can watch pretty much all the latest series on InstaFlixxer. Have been binge watching with my brother for the last couple of months :)
are they though? I'd guess that the gain is just so extreme that his singing vibrating the strings is just amplified well enough to be heard, because why would that style of guitar have microphonic pickups? it doesn't have any acoustic room to resonate through
@@Reversed82 microphonic pickups don't necessarily come from hollowbody or high gain (though this does work, think kings of leon utilise it in a song) it mainly comes from loose magnets in the pickup coils, which are sensitive to any vibrations
@@Soundyoucansee1 Hey just for the record Thank you to you and your mates that took the time and trouble to record this.It is a great document of the time just before this band took off, Just after Mind Fuzz. This is a 20 minutes of pure joy.You have managed to capture the atmosphere perfectly and for the lucky people to have been there this must be great to watch and say you were there that night.
@@hyperlooprecords1609 thanks for saying this, we were very lucky to capture this moment and as you say, everyone who was there felt they were witnessing something special. Magic in the room that night
3:44 stu singing into the guitar pickup and asking everyone if they heard that is incredible
i want to be Australian in my next incarnation.
I never felt a UA-cam comment so hard before
I wanna move to Australia
It’s pretty sick ngl

@Fox Kellan Definitely, I have been watching on instaflixxer for months myself :D
3:30 the birth of something beautiful
you can see him grinning his ears off immediately after
It's amazing that there's footage of him discovering what would become a staple of this song for the first time
4:01 Current Objective: Survive
It’s been more than 5 years and I’m still waiting for the full concert...
it's been 9 years

I’m listening to this for first time in 2022... my god... they are so amazing... maybe I’ll get to see em live one day.....
i would absolutely kill to see this song live
I was just thinking that i might cry if i ever do see this song live
I'M TOO SWEATY TO PLAY THE FLUTE
3:31 wooooooooah
How they ever fit on that tiny stage I'll never know, played there before and it's very very small
duuude was he singing into his guitar?? that's amazing
SuperTwilightZoned that's how Scott Weiland did sex type thing with STP "I am smelling like a rose..."
I saw Soundgarden in the early 90s, and Chris Cornell was singing through a megaphone in to his guitar pick ups. Sounded twisted.
I'm pretty sure he uses one of those Boss guitar MultiFX units and just pull the mic through that, also Ambrose's Harmonica.
Yeah the pickups on that guitar are microphonic so as long as the gain turned high enough you can tell through it
Daniel Johns, from Silverchair, did that on live performances of "If You Keep Losing Sleep"
The raw sound on this version makes it sound like it could be off 12BB
HE SANG INTO THE F**KING GUITAR 😵, Stu you genius
One of those records that can never be loud enough.
Yeah, it feels too clean for this song
The best band around for over ten years now. Unreal output, amazing live. Unique.
Joey is having so much damn fun. I envy that guy; he’s always having the best time on stage :D
The way he sings into those pickups, man
Fuck me how do you practice something like that? Pure talent and intuition!
apparently they just got drunk together and jammed
RECORD EVERY JAM SESSION. I think that's how.
Psychedelics and hours put in rehearsing.
Delighted to revisit this after Gizz played this song last night at Wide Awake to mark 10 years since it came out and their first ever UK show x
Seeing them at Ally Pally, I can only imagine how fucking magical it would be to see them at Shacklewell now ❤️
best performance of this song...it never ends!
I have seen them live fives times, but sadly they haven't played this at any of those gigs. Definitely their Opus Magnum.
I enjoyed that so much! For me, KGATLW started with ITRN, but these guys just keep impressing me.
Tomas Sund yew sick
i fucking love this song and this performance
Favourite band playing in my favourite venue. If only I were aware of them in 2014, this show looks amazing.
brilliant. one of the best bands around.
The ending on this one sends me somewhere else man
Amazing soundquality
More videos from this gig please
The fuzz factory with the stab up is so sick
Great sound! I was here! so fucking good

Is there complete footage of the whole gig?
There is, yes. Hope to get more of it out there one day. There's also a clip of Hot Fuzz from the same show if you haven't seen it.

Sloppy in the best way possible
Not gonna lie, I hate people that just jump because they don't know how to mosh, headbang, play air guitar or air drums.
