I absolute love the fact that they straight up ship their watch inside a pelican case. It's so unapologetic in showing that it's meant to be a tool. Not a showpiece. It's 180 degrees to what Rolex is doing with their Submariner and Seadweller range.
I’m a Rolex owner like you. But, my favorite everyday piece that does just about everything while going under the radar, is this piece. I’ve owned mine for about two years. It stays on my wrist 24-7. It even pulls gym duty while traveling. It’s so light that I can go to the gym and do a little cardio while wearing it. No need to leave my luxury watch in some hotel room. And best of all, the gold indices and hands are easily readable at a glance! Excellent for my aging eyes. I count down meeting times, transportation times, and even workout times with the diving bezel. It’s a wonderful piece. I just wish there were more strap options for it. I had to go to Jean Rousseau to make a bespoke rubber strap for it.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We have exactly the same taste. This Blancpain Titanium 5015 took much longer wrist time than my Rolex Sub. Also agreed that 23 mm lug to lug distance is a little weird. The new Blancpain strap seems better than the old version.
Sure. I got this specific one from this link. Just FYI, I have no financial connection with them. www.vagenari.com/products/rubber-strap-for-fifty-fathoms-ceramic-ref5015-45mm?VariantsId=undefined

Agreed. Undoubtably, these are all luxury TOOL watches.

Just subbed. Fine vid! Thanks
Thank you for your subscription. Glad you like it!
i love it but 45mm is sooo big. I really don't get the sizing, does BP say why they go with such a large case?
45 mm is pretty big, not everyone likes the size… Design of the watch makes it wears and feels smaller. The small lugs make a big difference.
May I ask what is this blue rubber strap? I would like to order one for mine FF too, thx!

Does it come in a genuine Pelican case?
Yes, absolutely. Very unique.
