The tour begins at a traditional Costa Rican pottery studio in Salitral Santa Ana, where you'll be greeted by a local artisan "Luis" who will guide you through the process of creating pottery from start to finish.
You'll start by learning about the process how the clay is used in the pottery-making process. You'll have the opportunity to touch and feel the clay as the artisan explains the different steps of process.
As the clay takes shape, you'll see how it's fired in a kiln to create the finished product. The artisan will explain the wood firing technique used in Costa Rican pottery.
Finally, you'll get to see the finished pottery on display in the studio's showroom. reminder of your experience.
