- The following is a VIDEO TRIP REPORT of a relaxed Birding With a Camera (BwC) Custom Tour that took place in the central Costa Rica and it focused on getting some nice photos and views of some of the most famous birds of this great country. For that, we took advantage of the vast amount of bird-focused facilities CR has which have lots of experience on attracting birds to feeders or flower gardens in typically very beautiful landscapes.

Thoroughly enjoyed the trip report. Costa Rica has always been on my list of places to visit and Andres does a great job selling it. Love his photos and sense of humour. I know these presentations take a lot of time to put together and the guides have so little down time so much appreciated.

Really well done video or an excellent tour! I have been birding in Costa Rica 7 times, and now how very skilled you were in finding that selection of birds and capturing them so well in photos and describing it so well!
Very interesting! You missed one of the premier birding locations (close to Frog Heaven) called Tico Rainforest B&B. Victor has documented over 220 different species on his property and has set up a wonderful photographic site on the balcony of his house. I have no personal connection to the site, but have visited here every year for the past 10 years.

Do you organize bird watching tours? This year or next, I would like to do some bird photography in either Costa Rica or Ecuador. What months are the best to travel to Costa Rica for birding? Sorry too many questions.
